Why only you and I are on this stuns me? The first time you mentioned it I was like yeah. And with each day they keep winning, I'm only more in on this. Even as a rental they could beat an offer if its 3 picks with 2 of them being the 24. They could beat that and not care if he walked.

Who’s the Brown / Hield equivalent from OKC that they can flip for additional assets? Now you have your answer

What are you on about? The Thunder don't need a flippable matching contract. They have a billion assets to offer now. They could just straight up give 4 picks. Or 2 picks and 2 prospects or Giddey or.... They don't need to scrounge for more lol.

Well exactly they’d need to send four picks just to match this rumored offer. Unless you have Brown worth less than Bertans + a 1st.

What happened, bros?

well in this case 2 better first or even 1 better first would have more value then all 3 if picks are what most think they are

I would guess either Smith or Toppin will be included but not both. They need one of them to back up Siakam

Brown, Smith + Nwora works, or it could include Hield, which would allow Toronto to dump one of Young, Temple or Boucher if they wanted to. Hope this trade happens and we find out soon.

If I’m rebuilding I’m taking Bertans and the first.

Brown contract tough to value. If you want him next season he becomes a 23 million expiring.

Guessing here but I suspect the Raptors are targeting Jarace Wallace here.

Pacers obviously would prefer draft capital alone. But Siakam helps anchor the defense with Myles Turner giving the electric offense some balance on the other end.

Toronto should hold out for Jarace while being flexible on the pick compensation attached to him.

Sure, but that means Bertans + filler + 4 picks beats or at least matches this (rumored) offer.

So why isn’t OKC offering 4 picks for Siakam? I don’t know that’s a pretty steep price. OKC has better picks and are probably waiting for Lauri or someone else to become available. They don’t need to shoot their shot yet imo.

Its on the record that Walker and Mathurin are off the table.

You don't know what the deal is yet.. :)

So currently nothing has happened yet.

What if it's IND24FRP, OKC24FRP and IND26FRP(top 10 protected).. I mean they are some bad picks, barely worth more than 1 unprotected 26 FRP.

Good grief the trade is done and its 4 first rounders + Brown and Hield

Yikes need to see what those picks are

Edit from Woj:

"The picks include Indiana's 2024 first round pick, a top 5 protected pick in 2026, a top 4 protected pick in 2028 and an unprotected pick in 2030"

Then I think the Pacers' position loses a few teeth here.

What are you 5 years old? Why don’t you wait for the whole deal before you act all high and mighty from a discussion a week ago? Grow up a bit pal.
