Embiid is still the most valuable player on a per game basis, but he's just missed too many games. He'd basically not have to miss anymore games for me to think he should be MVP, and we know that's not going to happen.

He can miss 7 more games. If not major injuries, or ones he just had, he should be able to make the limit, if not, ah well...

SEE YOU IN TWO WEEKS.

Wow. Respect gained. He's going to show up in Denver.

This is why I don't get the hate for Embiid. He may be a troll but hes a nice humble guy. He's just misunderstood.

lol cmn, lets not make it like he was doing that before.

I’m not a two-time MVP, I’ve never made first team All-NBA, I’ve never won anything. So why is there pressure on me to do something when there are guys that have won two MVPs, a bunch of MVPs and haven’t done anything either?" - Embiid.

Don't let the haters get to you. I'm picking no sides, but you can't hate on Embiid. You're just jealous the dude is possibly the best scorer we ever seen at the big man position. Some of the stuff he does is just unbelievable. That euro step is cray cray!

Embiid won tonight give the man his respect and move on.

This.

It got ugly last season, I don’t know why people are pretending otherwise.

Started with that ridiculous viewpoint pushed by that clown Kendrick Perkins that Jokic was another slow white guy that voters liked for MVP over the black guy apparently because voters care about race.

Then there was that Embiid quote.

People want to cry about Embiid getting a whole lot of hate for nothing.

Well Jokic was getting slandered by the media and Sixers fans everywhere despite getting the Nuggets to the WCF and putting up ridiculous numbers in multiple playoff runs and apparently that was the reason he shouldn’t win 3 MVPS in a row

Game 6 last year, Tatum was literally trying to finally hand them their first playoff series win against us in 40 years & they still couldn’t do it

Who cares. I want to see a finals with these two teams eventually. I think the ratings will be through the roof

True he was on fire from the outside. I think like 32 points were from jumpers and fts. Embiid didn’t miss it seems.

Why, they are always in here trashing on the Sixers and Embiid. They have had overall better success in the playoffs, but they are still no where close to realizing their potential. They were lucky they played Philly in the 2nd round, because another team would have beat them. They have enough issues, in Tatum's inconsistency, Brown not being nearly worth his contract, and Porzingis with his injury concerns.

I'll give it to them they've made it to the finals once, and they were sent packing, with Tatum having an NBA record 100 turnovers in the finals. I dont' get why they are constantly put on this pedestal, even though they can make the finals, they don't win there. If people want ot complain about the Sixers not getting past the 2nd round, the Celtics have not been able to get past the ECF, except for one occasion.

They were also close to a sweep against the Heat last year, came back, but then still lost, which was essentially a pathetic performance.

Again, they have had more success in the playoffs, but this is absolutely the year they have to win a chip. They are the best team in the NBA right now, and have everything going for them. They will be labeled as frauds if they dont' win it this year imo.

Do you really need it explained for you again that the Celtics have overachieved in multiple seasons while the Sixers have continually fallen below expectations?
