The vultures have been mysteriously quiet. But I feel them...watching the game. Watching the board. Waiting to pounce on the dead meat.
But no dinner tonight.

11-point win. Feels more like 2.
Kawhi was doing his Kawhi thing. Quiet night, then took over in winning time--on the DEFENSIVE end.

That unimpressive Paul George should only catch and shoot
38/7/5 3 steals, 0 turns

I think this was the best PG13 game as a Clipper.!!
Huge win for us! Didn't lose the Tiebreaker.
there are 3 teams I want to beat under any circumstance Thunder, Lakers and Warriors. Great win!

i don't think phenomenal is a strong enough word for pg's performance tonight. maybe virtuoso. like, he wasn't just the clear best player on the floor, he was BY FAR the best player by a league-wide mile. it feels like in the past we've seen him be ok with being more deferential to kawhi, but more and more he's taken the lead role and when he is fully locked in and not worried about trying to fit in along-side kawhi (or harden, now) he's pretty special. i hope we see more of that as the season goes on.
note he had 0 TO's today, which i think is a particular milestone given it wasn't all that long ago he was an absolutely maddening TO machine. and now? he's averaging like 2 a game.

Theis - 9 pts, 8 rebs, 3 blks
Get well Zu, they got your back.

Great team win. Everyone played hard and kept coming back after each Thunder run.
PG13 definitely silencing some people after Sundays game.
Next up is Nets and Lakers. Hope the teams gets rest and stays sharp for the next games.

What a game! Especially liked how we bounced right back after going down 1 late in the 4th. Everyone contributed big time. If not for the Thunder’s amazing hot shooting from 3 probably woulda been an even bigger win. This one feels good

It's a case of just because you can handle the ball and pass doesn't mean you are a primary ball handler or a point guard.
Paul George readily admitted his struggle with the role and we all knew it, but it was what the roster had. Now that his main focus when he gets the ball is to shoot/score, he's not overthinking things, and he's also not feeling pressure to make plays for others which can lead him to extra turnovers.
It's nice when players get to play roles better suited for them.

Not going to rub it in but damn we have the right. This is supposed to be fun.
Clippers 4th-favorite for the Larry. Frankly this is the most hopeful I've ever been and that includes the best days of Lob City. But we're still a distant 4th. Enjoy the ride--we're still the underdogs.

One of my favorite wins this season. Loved that Kawhi was cool with sitting in the corner and letting PG go to work in the 4th. I mean even throughout the game he only took ten shots, all quality looks. Okc was pretty good. They seemingly didn't miss from 3 and have a lot of guys who contribute. Really like when Harden is aggressive as well. He hit a big floater in the 4th. I'm still a bit ornery about some of the offensive rebounds they were able to get but overall just a super solid home win.

Kawhi would much rather do this than score 40 and hit the winning shot
you have to know how The Klaw rolls

Also good games from Plumdog, Theis, and Coffey. Had a body on Chet all night long which was major problems for him. Doubled SGA and hopefully Joe-Dort don't shoot like they did tonight. We got this team

If you go back and watch the game, they were happy just staying ahead of the Thunder. Once the Thunder took that lead, you could see everything change when they grabbed the ball for the inbound. They were like Sho-Nuf saying "Playtime's over boy". They were done messing around after that.
The one issue I had with the game is them getting away from targeting Shai in the early 3rd quarter when he picked up his 4th foul. They made it a point to go at him to get his 4th. When OKC left him in after picking up the 4th, we should have just run the offense at Shai until either he picked up #5 or they pulled him.

Shout out to Plumblee and Theis for holding the fort with no Zu. I knew we would be okay.
Big shout out to PG, was worried when he started off cold but then caught fire. Another ghost eliminated

Impressive win indeed. Had to watch the second half after family left.
It’s still bittersweet times for me.
