But when people start claiming that teams should offer 2 top 10 picks for him…..oof.

There’s a team option on Brown’s contract (this has been mentioned multiple times in this thread) so he’s functionally an expiring contract… you know, the ideal salary filler in a trade like this?

The option makes it better than an expiring, since the team has total control. Let him expire if you want the cap room, or keep him and try to flip him next season for an asset. This idea that we’re trying to “dump our bad contract” or whatever doesn’t make any sense.

He just a role player who just happens to have the highest salary on the Pacers. No other team wanted to give him 28 million per to party handy. Raptors would take Turner contract all day if you want to hold onto Walker so bad. Turner for the True North so you can get your Siakam for Hoosier country.

I'm serious, Walker is as raw as Wiseman which is why he is on the bench instead of on any rotation even for a few minutes. So his chances of ending up like Wiseman or Bagley III is more likely then he will end up like a prime Siakam.

Mathurins efficiency has improved since his rookie year he’s sitting around 48% from the field and 38% from 3 and he gets to the line a lot. So there’s no actual data to support what you’re saying. He’s also been super coachable, didn’t complain about coming off the bench and Ricks been on him to improve the little things, he’s made strides in his passing. Just an ignorant ass take all around.

theres a reason why he's on the waiver wire in fantasy. If his shots aren't falling he's not filling up the sheet. He's the type that even if he scores 25 points, he'll have like 26 fantasy points because he did little else and whatever little else he did was negated by turnovers. Even with Hali out he has not taken the ball and ran with it. Siakam on this team as lead guy while Hali out would probably be dropping triple doubles or close to it
