I believe Mgmt is fed-up with the entire post chip core not just Siakam.
NN discussing his future during the post game interviews.
OG wanting a bigger role. (More money)
FVV leaving for his greener pastures.
PS looking for max money.
KLow and DD (made a ECF) were loyal to Toronto and signed just above market value.
Why over pay for a core that hasn't won a single playoff series. Im sounding like a broken but It takes two to tango.
What wrong Raptors did to Siakam that he is giving such hard time to Raptors?

Again, no need to overcomplicate it, Pascal just wants to go a team that will pay him that full 5-year max. I don't know if the Kings were fully keen on it, so that blew up, though the return was crap anyway from our POV.
The Pacers definitely will pay him and they have few other options to add a player of his caliber. So it makes sense for everyone. It's just a matter of getting a fair return now.
The Mavs probably would as well but their assets aren't nearly as desirable. And the Warriors are just a complicated mess.
And it makes no sense to do it from POV so this is the result. Should've happened last year but Masai gave Fred/Pascal one last chance to see if they could do anything as a duo, even traded for Yak to help them.
