Maybe zubac injured himself more laughing like a douchebag at Goberts free throws?
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

The Suns were down 17 to the Kings at home with 5 minutes left. They proceeded to go on a 23-4 run to take a lead with 1.6 seconds left. Timeout Kings.
Update: Kings lose.

Legit shocked looking at the Kings result...they were up by 20+ points with 8 mins remaining when I last checked score and they somehow ended up losing the game lol

And OKC is playing the Clippers in a very tight game at the moment.
One shoe already dropped. The other one will follow. Just not sure which color. I am betting (not really betting) it's OKC.
Clippers up 7 late in the 3rd.

PG was unbelievable tonight. Hit a bunch of clutch shots. Holmgren hit the rookie wall. Clippers play him very physical. OKC really need another big body and move Holmgren to the forward spot. That is one team that could use a Gobert. Clippers contain SGA with help defender.

Re: Around the NBA
I know we're a ways away from needing to worry about this, but once again we're in good position in terms of tiebreakers. Currently the Suns are the only team we've lost the head-to-head to.
We have either split or won Dallas (2-1, 1 left), Golden State (2-0, 1 left), Lakers (2-0, 2 left), Grizzlies (2-0, 2 left), Pelicans (2-2), Spurs (2-0, 2 left), Jazz (2-0, 2 left).
Looking at division/conference tiebreakers, we have a four-loss lead on everyone in conference games. A healthy 5-1 record against the Northwest too (Denver is really hurting here at 2-4), competing only with OKC's 6-2 mark.

We have a good chance to get some breathing room in the next couple of days.
Right now we’re 1.5 games ahead of OKC and DEN, and we have DET Wednesday to move that to 2.0
Thursday we get MEM at home, while OKC has to go to surging UTA. Friday DEN goes to BOS.
Then Saturday we get OKC at home. Take care of business, and we could build up a little lead, specially with some mediocre competition following the OKC game.

Agree with you guys. I think we may fight with Clippers for top position, Denver and GSW going for 3, 4th. Will be perfect for us.

Interesting that you still have fate in GSW. I am going with OKC and PHX as fifth best.

Tonight showed how important offense is. When Superstars get in the zone, we have to match their scoring. Love our D but got to make that one trade to get more offense.

I feel like this is the biggest fallacy surrounding the season. The notion that we need more offense, ignores the fact that we have the tools to be much better offensively. People on this board talk about cutting our turnovers would by itself raise our offensive efficiency. Others mention (Jim Pete talks about this every night,) increasing KAT’s 3 point shooting volume. I think we need to increase Mike’s 3 point shooting volume, (especially from the corners in catch and shoot,) Jaden’s corner 3 point shooting on catch and shoot, ect… We saw in the Clippers game people passing up open 3s to drive and often turning it over, or settling for an off balance or heavily contested mid range instead of an open 3. Finally, the non Conley minutes or the Ant on ball minutes are a problem for us. Even when Ant scores, he does it in a way that cools the offense and depresses the energy level of the team. Guys often stand around when Mike and JMAC aren’t in the game. They don’t make the right cuts or set off ball screens, or even set enough on ball screens. You can see the energy level just pick up with JMAC because guys know the ball is going to move and the offense is a 5 man game again. Getting a Norman Powell, Malik Beasley, Luke Kennard type 3 point shooter isn’t the solution. Getting Ant off the ball and bringing in a floor spacing PG who keeps the pace up and the offense engaged is.

Yes, a bigger version of JMcL facilitator will get more offense. I think we still need more outside shooting.

Something very strange just happened. The NBA has postponed the Warriors at Jazz because a Warriors assistant coach suffered a serious medical emergency at a team dinner last night.

Re: Around the NBA
I do think we can improve our offense form within for sure. Not ruling that out but I also think we could use another shooter. It's not a must but I think it would really give us a big boost. If someone on the team like Shake or Anderson started to hit shots at a regular clip from three that would be just as good as adding another guy.
I also think Towns absolutely has to get more volume. He has to be more aggressive period. I want him playing more like he was a few years back scoring aggressively wise. He needs to be looking more like Jokic and Embiid as far as putting up big touches. If he was as aggressive with the ball as he was with Ryan Saunders, we woudln't have nearly as many lapses, that said he was getting a lot more comfortable looks in that offense because he was at center and had a lot more space.

Start at 1:03:19. Our numbers are fine, our shooting is actually really good. The issue is turnovers, decision making, and play making.

Agreed. We could really use a volume guy. Someone that can come in and just light it up. Someone who can shoot 8-10 Threes/PER36.
Its easy to say that our guys should just shoot more, but it doesn't always work that way. Just like accuracy is a skill/ability, so is volume.
We know KAT can do it when playing Center (8/Game, 41% in 2019-20), but maybe those same shots just aren't there when he's guarded by PFs/Wings?

I agree that we will improve a lot if we clean that up. I still think we could use more help though. Most of the top teams have elite scoring and haven't shown that much. I think it will be really hard to win if we are going up against superstars who can get crazy buckets and we can't.
This is the one area I agree with Charles Barkley on, I think he doesn't give us enough credit but I do think he is currently right about out bigs not being dominant enough on offense to compete with a lot of other teams major offensive players if they get hot. Towns could be one but he hasn't shown that a lot this year. The old Towns was good enough on offense to rival any player in the NBA but this year he isn't playing like that a lot.
We need a very aggressive Towns, like what we saw against Boston but again, there was no Rudy in that game and I think that makes a big difference as to what kind of looks he gets.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.
