I see the bolded as irrelevant. None of those players are available now and next season is a long way off. It is a huge waste of time coming up with trade scenarios for ANY star player.

The rest of your points are where the team and fans focus should be. Whatever it takes to improve THIS YEARS team without hurting future trade assets should be all we care about. The rest will fall into place if they stay patient.

I don't care if they use Grimes/Evan/ NYK/DAL 24 FRPs to upgrade this years team. Most of those assets will be gone before any star pops up on the market. Grimes is entering he final year of his deal next season. If we can upgrade him in a trade that makes sense, buh bye.

I personally think Hart/Randle/picks should be the centerpieces of any star trade. I think we need to fire Thibs and bring in Bud or even Bryant. That's the future though. Thibs can STFU and GTFO today and I wouldn't care. He sucks.

The honeymoon phase with OG was fun.

His positives are evident. Elite versatile defender who can shoot and cut well on offense. Can fit alongside any star and be a legit championship piece. A ceiling raiser. We were always going to need somebody like him eventually, so we just got the real deal.

His negatives are also becoming evident though. Raps fans did say watching OG try to create can be frustrating. He seems to lose the ball, trip, or fumble half the time he tries to do it. When he pulls it off it’s beautiful and teases some more upside, but most of the time he doesn’t.

Id like to see us get him on the move more. 1-2 dribbles at most. He doesnt just have to stand in the corner but he also shouldnt be trying to do too much. There can be a middle ground.

With OG’s shooting, size, athleticism, and off ball movement he should be able to average closer to 18-20 ppg even with a mediocre handle and limited iso moves. Run more plays for the guy to get him to his spots.

Im hoping there is still more offensive potential with him, especially if we’re going to pay him the most on the team soon. We just need to mostly play to his strengths while trying to incorporate new wrinkles in his game slowly. That seems to be what we’re doing, but with Brunson out OG’s lack of creativity has been more obvious.

i doubt the suns give up on their trio after 1 year unless those guys demand out. they gave up too much to quit this quickly. plus they're pretty good when healthy. 7-3 in their last 10.

Prior to Josh Hart I wanted to trade a 1st for Grayson. Replace him with pump fake in our rotation and we would have a much crisper more spread our offense I’ll tell you that much.

if they trade for a star who's making a max, are they gonna be able to afford randle on a new deal that will be significantly higher than his current one ? some teams will likely be willing to max him, so i would think he's getting close to that at least.

you could be looking at something like 150/160 or more for just 4 guys if you keep them all. doesn't seem likely.

I think there's too much smoke with the KAT rumors. Minnesota really is going to bump up into cap space questions after this season, they seem to have planned to keep Mitch (just in case), CAA, and we got Rosas. I do think it's gonna be a Randle+ for KAT deal. Might be another win-win too.
