Edge because they’ll want to move on from reddick at some point

WR to move on from AJ brown at some point

Or CB because the eagles for years never drafted WRs and then suddenly they draft them all the time. So this has howie overcorrect all of it

If I was a betting man I’d guess they really chase an edge though. But would love a 6-1 athlete at corner.

Give me ringo and a 1st round pick at CB on the outsides next year

AJ Brown situation that bad huh? I thought Eagles would draft defense heavy this year, with Brown they have perhaps the best reciever groups including tight ends. They might need someone to take over the tush push duties lol, that's a great weapon to have.

The eagles have exciting young defensive players. I’d like to see the eagles add to that personally. And we have Isaiah Rodgers coming in who was a top nickel corner and only 25 to replace avonte

Eagles need a good coach because there are athletes and potential there.

I really like Sydney brown a lot but part of me is a little nervous that he might be the next avonte Maddox. Great player but always seems to get injured. He plays a very physical style of defense which I like but just wonder if it’s gonna lead to injuries. Some players can be physical and not have an injury history but others can’t, we will see.

Not necessarily, moreso that with contracts of WRs skyrocketing teams will be better off drafting replacements long term

I’m not ready to move on from brown yet. I believe he has 2 more years. I’d consider drafting a year from now. Maybe 2. But AJ is the best offensive player on the team. I’d personally be hesitant to trade him

Tush push has nothing to do with it. They have devonta smith back there pushing a lot of times. As far as AJ brown goes, I think it’s just a matter of cap flexibility. They gotta pay devonta smith eventually and probably don’t want to pay both devonta and AJ. If they had to choose I think they’d probably prefer keeping devonta as much as that might not make sense to non eagle fans. Pay a guy top 10ish WR money then also have a guy on a rookie contract that gives great value. They just did this with AJ brown and devonta smith but eventually this combo will end when it’s time for devonta to get paid so obviously move on from one and like I said I think it’s gonna be AJ.

I’m not sure they want a lockerroom clean out with reporters everywhere and players getting hounded about Nick being fired

My guess is if he’s fired it’ll be Thursday or Friday

That’s what I was thinking too. They are allegedly meeting with him today, they might fire him today but I don’t think it’ll come out till later in the week. When howie and Lurie met with pederson, it was kinda the same thing. Going off memory, I think they met with him on a Tuesday and then announced he was fired on Thursday or Friday.

Well I know they didn’t want to fire Doug lol. They fired him because they wanted press Taylor gone. Which is ironic because lurie and howie were right, jaguars fans hate press Taylor lol

But Doug would still be here if not for press taylor

I think with Sydney it’s wait and see. ACLs have come a long way. It’s early but I’m not ready to label him avonte quite yet. Avontes gone though lol. With Isaiah rodgers no chance avontes back

I know. I’m just saying they met with Doug and didn’t announce till a few days later. It might be similar this time around though yes for different reasons

I’m not saying Sydney is there yet I’m just nervous he might get that injury label. Didn’t he get 3 injuries this year? At least 3 that I know of. He had a hammy injury where he missed like a month, then I think if I remember correctly he got an arm injury but didn’t miss time, and now the ACL injury. I hope it’s just a fluke year but makes me slightly nervous

But yeah I agree I think avonte is 100% gone with Rodgers on the roster. I’m excited for that change actually as much as I like avonte Maddox but the dude just can’t stay on the field

Call it whatever you want, doesn’t change the fact no one gives a crap about the Bucs. You claim to be a fan but talk more about the Cowboys. Based on how much you talk Cowboys you might actually be the most active Cowboys fan on this board.

Yeah it’s definitely concerning

I gave avonte the benefit of the doubt, hopefully this time it doesn’t prove to be an issue

I meant draft someone to replace Kelce for the tush push not AJ Brown. I would move on from Devonta before AJ Brown personally, his size gives him the advantage and can use him more versatile. I would be concerned about Devonta's career as time time passes by, dont think his body can handle NFL long term. Of course if you can keep him both much better.

Cam jurgens is replacing kelce. He’s not gonna be kelce, but my understanding is he’s expected to be a pretty good player there.

Neither AJ Brown nor Jason Kelce plays for Cowboys, that's just your nervousness playing tricks on your mind. Your mind does not have the capacity to keep up with the trash talking so you tend to say the dumbest and most irrelevant things while trying to save a face, like talking about Bucs in a NFC East thread. Now take a deep breath and let's try to learn if AJ Brown is likely to leave this offseason.

What about the Cowboys RB position? Do you think the should keep Pollard?
