Great win against a scrappy young team, glad we took it to them in the 2nd half and gave them no hope, thats how you defeat a scrappy team, hit timely shots that kill any hope they have.

There is a method to Thibs' madness, although it's driving us mad, too. He doesn't have the bench he needs, so he keeps the team at a lower level of D in the first half, keeping the game close. This saves energy, because he doesn't have the firepower we need off the bench. Then he ups the D with 6 mins to go in the 3rd and we begin to pull away. Sometimes, not until the 4th.

There was a team that did exactly this for two seasons - the 69-70 and 72-73 Knicks.
