If the team does well, I can only imagine the sheer amount of disapoointed "fans" here.
Disappointed because they missed out on an opportunity to add another long-term piece to the young core and our future hangs on the balance of blind faith in FO's ability to make miracles happen with late picks of a weak draft when they've fumbled almost every aspect for a while now.
What long term piece are you referring to exactly?
All reports are stating that Indiana was not offering any of their young players. Ergo - what mystical trade are you talking about?
Dumb ass fans thinking they know more than scouts and experts. This is why there are flat earthers thinking they know more than the smartest people alive (and throughout history) based on youtube "resurch".
Opinions do not hold the same currency as facts.
This is the problem with short-sighted people. Can't see nothing beyond what's right in front of them. And often not even that. Can't look back. Can't look forward. There have been many calls by many people to trade Siakam long before things came to this point. Where there would've been offers better than the garbage the team accepted. The fact that they punted this decision for as long as they did is why the offers got so bad. Also, the option of extension should have been open to them but they closed that shut due to mismanagement of relationships.
