Surely he’s not saying Lowry and 2 1sts isn’t enough for Rozier lol

Best 2 guard? Best player.
Everyone knows. He was a bad mofo. Game was intrinsic for him.

Barry mentioned it as a potential offer and everyone blasted him on it. He came back and says Heat fan base want good players for basically little to nothing. I feel like the front office too. But we’ll just continue to keep going around in circles left with nothing hoping for the magical whale unicorn we still won’t have enough assets to get.

I’d send out every asset possible with or without acquiring a true whale if I thought it would win us a championship lol. Unfortunately the FO doesn’t think like that. The Godfather has to absolutely fleece you or he isn’t doing it, hence us not acquiring a true running mate for Jimmy and Bam the last 5 years

But the fan base acts the same way during the moment of truth. You got a player in Rozier who’s sporting a nasty all around game this year and clocking 24 a game and is on a great deal making in the low 20’s.
You would also think Spo would unlock things in him that can help put this team over the hump. Problem is what if the Hornets ask for 2 1st? Not saying both unprotected but that’s there price. Maybe a swap with unprotected or maybe a protected with un protected.
Do we continue to pass on players like Rozier cause we refuse to overpay just once? This is the moment of truth this year. The buyout market is not there this year to bail this team out.
Not many teams out there willing to take on Lowry either and give us back anything close to a Rozier. I hope only one pick gets it done but feel like it will take a little more.

Excerpt on Rozier:
"As the Hornets drift out of the Play-In picture, rival teams believe they're open for business when it comes to their veteran players, league sources tell The Athletic. Rozier's hot run could allow them to move his contract off their books and begin resetting around Ball, Brandon Miller and Mark Williams."

Best scorer on the team until Jimmy tries and Bam tinkers his shot diet to attack more instead of settling for the mid range jumpers.
Best 3 level scorer we’ve had on the team in a long time. His 1 playoffs as a starter was awhile ago but he was very good.
Also, I forgot about this but he’s been a top 3 clutch player in the league this season.
He would be a massive pickup, cap relief and a 1st in very confident gets it done

It makes too much sense, he grew up a die hard Wade and Miami fan, he’s attainable for not a ton of assets, he’s at our biggest position of need and plays the style of ball we need. Get it done, he wants to be here

I think we’ll have to toss in a swap but whatever at this point. Just close the damn deal

Works for me, swap in this scenario will just be the Hornets keeping their pick tbh

When I was all in on Dame AirP was saying Dame wasn’t necessary, we just needed a Dragic level scorer. Here’s our chance except he’s an even better scorer than Dragic

Dragic did cost us two first round draft picks, that was before the inflation of the trade market we are in today.

2 1sts and a bunch of bums and I believe Dragic was expiring so now cap relief for the Suns in the deal like here with Rozier. Dragic was also coming off an all nba season, Dragic was the better overall player likely but Terry the better scorer. Idk, Rozier is killing it this year.
