Neither AJ Brown nor Jason Kelce plays for Cowboys, that's just your nervousness playing tricks on your mind. Your mind does not have the capacity to keep up with the trash talking so you tend to say the dumbest and most irrelevant things while trying to save a face, like talking about Bucs in a NFC East thread. Now take a deep breath and let's try to learn if AJ Brown is likely to leave this offseason.

What about the Cowboys RB position? Do you think the should keep Pollard?

Until they get rid of the choker at the quarterback position doesnt really matter what they do lmao, how is his odds to win the mvp now ahahah

Well the season is over so I’d say not good. How would you suggest they move on from Dak? He has a $59M dead cap number. Should they attempt to trade him?

I’m not sure they want a lockerroom clean out with reporters everywhere and players getting hounded about Nick being fired

My guess is if he’s fired it’ll be Thursday or Friday

That’s what I was thinking too. They are allegedly meeting with him today, they might fire him today but I don’t think it’ll come out till later in the week. When howie and Lurie met with pederson, it was kinda the same thing. Going off memory, I think they met with him on a Tuesday and then announced he was fired on Thursday or Friday.

Well I know they didn’t want to fire Doug lol. They fired him because they wanted press Taylor gone. Which is ironic because lurie and howie were right, jaguars fans hate press Taylor lol

But Doug would still be here if not for press taylor

Press Taylor would have put a better offense on the field than what we saw against the Bucs.

Are you sure? Doesn’t seem like many in Jacksonville think so

There have been a few times where I've been close to just wanting to stop watching NFL and this might finally push me over the edge.

Keeping McCarthy makes no sense at all. The regular season wins have been nice, but there are so many worrying signs with his head coaching from game management to player discipline. Are we just going to lead the league in penalties again? Seems like we are destined to.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. McCarthy seems like a nice guy and his players seem to like him, but I absolutely hate this decision. I don't want to spend another year watching the Cowboys stomp bad teams and get overwhelmed by any team that is a little above average. FML.

Dak is also getting a raise. I expect any day now they will announce his contract extension. I’m going to guess $65M per season for the next 5-6 years.

Well that will make it easier and free us up enough money to go out and get the RB, OL's and LB's we need to make this team better. Unless everyone thinks continuing to play 6 DB's 90% is the way to go.

I thought he would make the move because he has said several times he wants to win another SB. He's 82 next year so it's gotta be an experienced head coach for him. You know what McCarthy can do for us and it's early round playoff exit. If we had at least gotten to the divisional round I'd understand sticking with him, he won a playoff game. But losing to such a young team in such a bad way is inexcusable for a guy you are keeping for his supposed experience in the postseason.

I thought BB would be the play because he would have a ton of talent to work with and we know what he can do with a talented team. MM is a perennial underachiever but I guess you're right that having a yes man is more important to Jerry.

You are not going to teach old dogs new tricks, one is in his 70s other in his 80s and they have been the unquestioned authority past 20+ and 30+ plus years for their teams.

Especially for Bill, he is not particularly aching for super bowl rings, I am sure he would want it but probably peace of mind and relaxed work environment is priority for him. That's why Falcons keep popping up for him in the media even though they dont have a QB and not that close to being a contender, reportedly Arthur Blank will give him full control.

By the way.. this tweet will knock your panties off.. Many fans (mostly Dallas fans) were complaining earlier in the year that the eagles received so much help from the refs. Well.. this says that’s not true.. In fact, Dallas received the most game altering calls in the NFL and the eagles received the least game altering calls in the NFL in 2023.

His original tweet didn't have Dallas first or Philly last. I am confused on methodology though. He doesn't seem to describe what it is in this thread. Do you know what the methodology is? What is a "game altering call"? Does it measure missed calls? Does it measure incorrect calls? That's really where it matters a lot, IMO. Nobody really cares if the refs are making good calls down the stretch, that isn't a problem and it seems that what is being measured here as far as I can tell.

I believe it looks at the win probability on like, ESPN or something, and then takes the plays where it shifted by at least 5%

Meaning, if a team had an 80% chance to win, and then the next play there was a penalty which caused the win probability to go to 85%, that's a game-altering call

I can tell you why there's so many for the Jags, it's cause we were DPI hunting for a lot of the year. Too many throws were just "f*ck it, Calvin's down there somewhere, hopefully the ref calls DPI", which is why Ridley had the most DPI called against him in the league but a sub-56% catch%.
