Game 43: Utah Jazz (22-20) vs Oklahoma City Thunder (27-13)
No injuries on either team. Should be a more competitive game this time around.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Jazz are fighting to keep a six game winning streak going, while OKC is fighting to end a two game losing streak.
Dunn had 22 pts on 10 fga in a game versus SGA last April. I hope he takes some shots this game to make SGA work hard on both ends of the floor.

Obviously they will be better rested physically than the schedule originally would have allowed, but the mental aspect of being involved with such a tragedy may come into play. They are human and I know it would for most of us.
OKC is a really good team as are the Jazz especially lately, but I would not be surprised if either team won in a blowout.

Really excited for this game. A win here will cement this run as not just a fluke

Let's go jazz!!! OKC is not doing bad away, but they have lost a few winnable at the road lately @Hawks, @Nets, @ Lakers. Sure it's not easy to win @Clippers.

So who of OKC will try and defend Lauri to the ground? Don't see it happening though.

I like the quote- it makes me chuckle. And it was/is pretty much true.

Dort. He's the type of very strong and physical mid-size guy that has given Lauri trouble before, faceguarding, grabbing and bumping him all over the perimeter. Interesting to see if Lauri can stay on the move, find backdoor cuts or take balanced shots over him.

Let's see if lauri's new found ft drawing skills are legit. He's been bullying the smaller players guarding him the last few games

Oops. Maybe we needed more Kessler minutes and less Collins minutes.

I missed the first 2/3 of the game. Why did Dunn play so little?
I thought the Jazz showed resilience against one of the best teams in the NBA.

We were close, but we begin really bad the game. We were down as near by 20 and we fought back.
Props to okc.
Another time some guys (Collins, George) are big negatives. Hardy is doing a great job but sometimes you have to cut minutes when something it's not working.

So my jinx worked to take Dort out, but OKC was pretty good at taking Lauri out of plays with their gameplan and Williams tagteam.
Plenty of bad November Jazz early on: turnovers, bad transition D, silly fouling, no paint protection...
I guess it is a good sign that Utah made it a competitive game after all that, but OKC is just a better team now and SGA is a killer.
Was this at 2:15 left the first incidence of whack-a-Walker? That doesn't look good for increasing his role, and he made a big positive impact on this game.

Dunn got off to a rough start, with three personal fouls in the first six minutes of the game. SGA scored 8 points and OKC opened a nine point lead. With foul trouble, Dunn didn't come back until opening of second half, where he had a good stint with 4 assists and the Jazz going +7, but he picked up another foul. He didn't play in the fourth. Maybe we could have used him in Q4; I don't know.

The Jazz played well for the most part, can really complain. They held their own against a better team.
Sexton's passing and decision making has visibly improved. He's much more under control and make good reads and passes. I counted at least three passes by him to a wide open corner 3 that ended up missing, but you couldn't ask for a better shot or pass for that matter. He could have easily had 10 assists.

The slippage right at the beginning of the game doomed them but they matched up well after that

Yah, the investigation is over and nothing actionable was found. Plus, where are those people with Malone which is not a situation that was in question? Seems hypocritical.
