Game Thread – Nuggets @ Celtics – Fri. 7:30PM, Jan. 19, 2024

Seems like some Nuggets fans and media were assuming Jokic would not play tonight after the death of Dejan Milojevic. But he is playing from everything I've seen. We C's fans are hyped for this game but if we win I'm sure it will be because of that and we won't get much credit.

The Nuggets are 11-11 against team above .500 and 17-3 against team below .500. If you ignore the fact that they are the defending champs and that they have the best basketball player on the planet, they are like the fakest contender ever :lol:

My wife spent a lot of money to go to this game as a Christmas gift, mainly to see Jokic play in person. Totally understandable if he doesn't, but I'm hoping he plays. Not often you get to see arguably the best offensive player of all time on court.

If Jokic doesn't play we win because Jokic sat. If he plays, we win because Jokic wasn't focused. Also, no Khris Middleton.
