Basically, they don't even want a name player back. They mostly want picks and to get off his contract. We should be easily able to meet that if we wanted to. But no the Lakers and Klutch will do their thing again and get someone for pennies on the dollar while we wait for Giannis' next contract extension.

He's expiring and he's someone Miami has been interested in...
I like him and his size at PG in Spoelstra's switching defensive schemes.

Dinwiddie is exactly the scenario the Heat likes to exploit. Still likely to be a third team involved

Murray can potentially be for Mia what Dipo was supposed to be.

Barry lost some faith in our FO too, he knows that this will come down to penny pinching in the end from ownership, if the deal isn't perfect it won't go down. Were always trading from a position of weakness, gawd I hate this cheap owner.

Yep said this last night or the night before lol. Terry would also be a bigger offensive boost but worse defensively than we hoped for from Dipo

Bucks literally don’t have expiring money to send out and the picks I see for them are tied up in swaps

Barry telling fans to calm your azze's down!!! Pat just rang his phone and told him they like their team, so shut up and stop being a lil biatch. Watch us destroy the competition with another run in the playoffs against the big boyz with our current team that assembled in the offseason with precision.

I swear to gawd, if Cronin comes back in here with a funny business after we lose out on another guard to a rival I'm gonna go ballistic.

The question is, is that a credible source about the expiring request, was their ask about expiring money or made up. Maybe they want players and not expiring's, and were following fake sources.

Even if that were the case, which isn’t likely, the Bucks have nothing to offer lol

Whatever happens in this Trade Deadline tells me everything I need to know about the FO headspace moving forward. If nothing goes down, and I deals happen with Murray, Terry that we could beaten going elsewhere. They are one foot into the bridge build of JJJ, Jovic, Bam, Herro and Jimmy is now just along for the ride until retirement.

Patrick James Riley aka The Washedfather

It's not that bad, it's just the tactic that Riley and the Heat have been using... leverage. It comes down to either teams keep their expiring player and get nothing, or they take whatever Miami wants them to take with a small asset attached. It's a can't lose trade for Miami but that doesn't mean it's all that helpful to get over the hump when you've came so close to winning a championship in MULTIPLE recent years. I have to believe 10+ years ago Riley and the Heat would have gone all out to maximizing the Bam Butler duo, especially after they got to the ECF 3 of the last 4 years but here we are, an older more cautious Riley.

Or get bounced early because we've been injured all year and finish low again. I like our team too but I dunno about our chances this year against the C's and Bucks. If Yanni and Dame are both healthy come playoff time I don't think we can score more than them, even though they don't play defence.

give me one without overpaying, keep Niko, and get healthy.

I think a PG upgrade combined with health will take us to a higher tier.

Does any of these rumored trades keep the heat out of the repeater tax?

I sill say I am up like 26k on my CCL stock from the covid lows... carnival is starting to perform again...maybe the dude will want to spend some money.
