You would think that someone who won MVP last season would be better than a 1st year player. But I get it, if Paolo is just as skilled without the flopping, I would be ecstatic.

cole's decision making after 3 years in the league remains one of his biggest weaknesses

I do think it's interesting that Houstan never saw the floor again that half. I don't know how many rough Houstan minutes Mosely can tolerate. Really wonder how bad Jett Howard is to not at least get a look to simply just take open 3's.

I'll keep harping on it but he needs to be more efficient. The talent in this league is ridiculous right now. I'm seeing guys like Jalen Williams even making huge strides in efficiency that we need to see with Paolo. Now, JW is almost 2 years older than Paolo, but nonetheless, there needs to be serious improvement in efficiency. Enough with the lazy takes into the paint. The jumper, while good, is not good enough to be a superstar. He needs to keep working. I'm hoping we see that jump next year... but it would help if the FO helped him out with the roster too.

Cole with 3. Bad Cole and we lose.

At least point, I don't even care about the turnovers. I think we had maybe less than 12 TOs against Atlanta and still loss.

Gonna be interesting to see if Mose starts WCJ in the 2nd half and have Moe back him up. Goga looked pretty shook guarding Embiid. Too slow to move with him laterally and too soft putting a body on him.

He def needs to improve in that area, but to be fair, this slump lately is without Franz. I wanna see him with a great guard like SGA too lol

Jett can't be worse offensively so it has to be about the defense... yet he let's Cole play a ton...

It's an apples to oranges comparison. Jalen Williams gets to play with a top 3 MVP candidate on a team that shoots 40% from 3. Banchero is staring a double and sometimes triple teams every possession. Sure, we all want Banchero to be more efficient. I also wouldn't mind Franz coming back and the team just hitting open 3's when Banchero is swinging the ball to open players.

that's not quite apples to apples....i mean how efficient would jalen williams be if he was at the top of the scouting report getting doubled and sometimes tripled every game? jalen williams is good but there is no reason for him to be doubled....he's enjoying being the 3rd best player on his team with wide open spaces to cook.....now i do get the jist of what you're saying but the roles are completely different

We just don't have enough guys that are consistent. Half of this board wanted to ship out WCJ a week or two ago and were pissed when Goga got benched.

Jalen is a great player but he also has the luxury of playing with SGA, there is NO ONE of that caliber on this team. Paolo is trying to figure out how to be an efficient scorer when he gets swarmed by the defense. Years from now, when he figures it out, then he'll be the SGA to some other player that becomes crazy efficient.
