Aaron Bradshaw looks like he could be a Boucher replacement if he's available with one of the lower picks

This dude is an excellent lob catcher/finisher. I wonder what his career might have looked like in college if he went somewhere that had a good point guard.

He's not a facilitator like Jokic or Sabonis, but that is fine because Scottie is such a good passer and he is already huge for someone with that skill. The thing that sucks is that in the last draft he probably goes 6th, but in this draft he may go as high as #1.

Is he like Derek Lively?

Definitely not. He’s more of a poor man’s Porzingis.

He’s a lot more mobile and quicker than KP. But KP is a bit bigger. I personally see a little LaMarcus Aldridge

An interesting guy who doesn't really fit our roster is Iowa State Sophomore point guard Tamin Lipsey. He's not the quickest or most athletic, but he's strong and savvy with some of the fastest hands outside the NBA. He's an absolute terror at the point of attack and on digs, and on offense he has great feel and plays with patience and poise. Reminds me of Jose Alvorado in Vanvleet's body.

Watching Bama-Tennessee.

Knecht is the prospect. He sorta looks like Bojan Bogdanovic, kinda thick for a shooter. Probably a defensive liability, though apparently his 1 on 1 numbers are okay and he plays a lot of minutes for the #4 defensive team in the country so he's probably not hurting them on that end. Definitely looks like a 3 and not a 2. Quality shooter. Runs the floor pretty well. Seems like he has trouble getting open against a good athlete and when he Iso'ed against Sears (6'1 but strong veteran guard) he tried to bully him and got stripped pretty easily . Does move the ball quickly and re-locate so might fit the new ball movement we've been playing with. I think this pick might make more sense for someone like the Lakers or Philly who need a rotation shooter immediately more than long-term upside. Seems like more a good backup 3 type.

I'm seeing the weak draft label here. Bama is #5 on KenPom, Tennessee is #6, they generally recruit well as big SEC teams and the best players seem to be mostly solid older players who either lack athleticism (Knecht) or size for their position in the NBA (Sears, Aidoo has been active but looks a tad small for a center). There's not like an Anthony Black or Colin Sexton kind of freshman here to really get excited about, which you would maybe expect from these teams ranked as they are.

Knecht is a very good college player, but his future is probably in Europe. For 23 year olds you generally need to be completely dominant to be a successful NBA player and he's not.

There's not a great track record of Chinese players other than Yao, but this guy's kind of interesting. He has very Gasol/Jokic-like skills on offense.

You don't find too many 6'8 shooters that move like him (though he's not as explosive as you'd like). In any case, a Wooga & Kyshawn haul would be good business.

I'm trying to think of 1st rounders where Masai has reached for a guy based on lengthy athleticism. Siakam and Bruno are two, but are there any others? OG was a guy who was projected top 10 or 15 depending on the site and fell.

The OKC and Detroit picks are right in his draft range so it wouldn’t even be a reach

Ivisic is a stud. Hitting threes, behind the back dime, blocking shots all in his first game. Big Z just looks comfortable dominating this level.

He could be an ideal guy while we have Poeltl he can get spot minutes and keep developing his body. He looks like he is just having fun out there - plays with jor.
