Honestly at this point I would just ride out the rest of the season with what we have. We're an 8th seed/ play in team at best and I dont think any realistic move at the deadline would change that.

My manz thought about that Trae/Reaves backcourt and had a change of heart about trading Murray. :rofl2:

As he should have when Trae this season is a better defender than the guy you are thinking on putting next to him thats a very very scary thought lol. I think if you move Murray i would wait til the offseason where you can probably have a chance at some better players that might get moved like KAT if the wolves want to work on their cap space.

The sad part is Lakers fans think they can get him for Dlo and 2nd rd picks.

I have seen about a dozen Sixers games this year and no doubt the guy gets one of the softest whistles, but this is just.. this is beyond.

yeah, it's that bad
can't fault Embiid tho, he's baiting and flopping around but it's the refs that reward him
if there was no reward he's stop and since they give to him by far the softest and most egregious whistle in the league - he's choosing the right strategy by continueing to play like this

at least in the rs :)

I wonder if Grant regrets leaving Nuggets... (I think I'm thinking of the right guy... he wanted a bigger role so he signed with Detroit, right?)

Magic had a VERY small margin for victory... the refs were too much to overcome.

I wasn't even mad about it. We all see the ways games are called. There was another one where a player leaned forward into a defender that jumped straight up at the 3 point line... they called the foul on the defender. I thought that was supposed to be called an offensive foul... NBA refs are garbage.

I think he said something about wanting to join a team with a black FO and coach as well.

Found The Athletic article that had it
https://theathletic.com/2297656/2021/01/06/jerami-grant-detroit-pistons-denver-nuggets-nba-basketball-free-agent/
Grant, the player, wanted to show that he has more to offer. Grant, the Black man, wanted to play for people in leadership positions who look like him and share similar experiences. Before arriving in Detroit, he had never played for a Black head coach in the NBA. He had played previously under Weaver, though, who was Oklahoma City’s assistant GM during Grant’s 2016-19 tenure.

Probably not when you look at the contracts he has signed. He left a playoff team to go to a bad team for a reason.

he just came out the other day saying he's happy in Portland
that he signed an extention and as long as they want him he'll be there, that's in reference to them being sucky which leads to trade rumors

you think he ever gets paid like Detroit paid him on the Nuggets? so he has tens of millions of reasons not to regret leaving, i'm sure he doesn't regret a thing haha

It's not shocking how this game is going for the Pacers.

The bench is struggling. Last night there were only 7-8 guys available, mostly bench players. The bench guys played a ton of minutes, and then had to play the next night. The starters have been fine, but the bench has been awful.

Bench is shooting 3 out of 22 so far.

Not only to save their offense but to let them set their defense. The Nets are just running up and down the court without any deterrence.

Well it's a trade off I guess. I wonder how many would make it?
