this entire forum knew that. it was so rediculous.

Which 3+D center was available?

Myles Turner was for trade but the Pacers wanted 2 first round picks for him. In retrospect, it would have been much smarter to use the pick we sent out to get Poeltl and the pick we downgraded to get Thad to get Turner instead.

ya in hindsight should've just went for Turner with 2 FRPs....people on here would've freaked out still.

Pacers losing by double digits to Portland. Not a good start.

Seems like there are a lot of players on the Pacers that need shots. I think they need to consolidate some of their assets soon.

Pacers were already a strong offensive team and Siakam doesn't move the needle that much defensively.

I love Siakam, but I'm rooting for Indiana to fall out of the playoffs and getting a lotto pick, lmao

if that happened that would be hilarious.

wasn't OG part of that deal? I know Indiana was targeting OG for the longest time and at the time I don't think anyone wanted to give up OG

The pistons are so frustrating to watch.

Anyone else not buying the Bucks as contenders?

This was from wiretap in 2022:

https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/268040/Pacers-Seek-Two-First-Round-Picks-From-Lakers-For-Myles-Turner-Buddy-Hield

They were looking to move him even back in 2021 before they traded for Haliburton:

https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/263427/Pacers-Discussing-Myles-Turner-Trade-With-Multiple-Teams

Generally he was available for years, there just wasn't a team that wanted to pay out what the Pacers were looking for so they extended him and are trying to win now instead.
