Murray was an awesome defender when he was playing with the Spurs. He went to Atlanta and it went into the toilet. Its possible that the Atl scheme, coaching, and playing with T.Young has him underperforming on that end. If he can get back to being that 2nd team all nba defender with his improved shooting stroke 38.5% he would be a really good get.
Obv the problem with Murray is other teams know hes a guy with talent. Contenders are in on him. Pop and the Spurs who know by far the most about Murray are even trying to get him back. This is a very positive sign that Pop wants him as Pop knows ball.

It can be a 3 team trade where Ivey lands somewhere else.

I'd be happy to give them a 1st round pick and someone else.. Dejounte can play on both ends. Fans don't want to wait years before we have a certified bust.
Murray was a awesome defender with the Spurs. Hes been bad on that end with the Hawks. That could just be due to playing with Young and in that Hawks scheme. If he returns to his Spurs defensive form he could turn out being a MASSIVE win for us.
I'd expect the offer to be something like this years 1st and Ivey. It would be a multiple team trade as Ivey doesnt make since in Atlanta.

Ivey could go to Orlando or Brooklyn, with them sending another pice for Atlanta. It doesn't need to be a direct trade. I am talking about value, we could possibly match what they're reportedly asking for Murray by sending Bojan and Ivey.

The #1 reason the Hawks have to make is a trade is because they will be in the luxury tax next year unless they let Bey walk and don't use their MLE. Their ownership group last year had a no luxury tax mandate and I'm sure its the same now as well. They are stuck based on the big contracts they have on that roster they can't give Bey $10 million and use the MLE... so they need to clear off some salary and apparently there hasn't been much interest in Capela or Hunter so Murray is the one guy that people around the league actually want. For them, getting a player that can produce much of what Murray does but at a lower expense either on a rookie deal or locked into a few years at a more bargain price that what Murray is making.

It was the anniversary of Kobe’s 81 point game. I knew embiid was going to kill San antonino but didn’t know he put up 70 lol

Re: Around the League
Griffin seemed like he was way over his head and on top of that...Milwaukee shouldn't have hired a rookie coach to lead a chip-contender team? Really surprised Giannis didn't like Nick Nurse considering he was also a consideration and now the Sixers look like a team you don't want in the playoffs especially with how unlocked Embiid looks

Re: Around the League
I think it was really stupid to trade Jrue for Lillard (overrated).
Wes Unseld fired. It seems like no one wants to be the first team to fires, but he and his father especially had long ties to that organization. Washington and Charlotte are two teams I wouldn't want to be.
I read Pistons are still talking with the Bulls for LaVine. I'm not a huge fan, but at least you know what you're getting out of him. If all they want is Ivey, by all means.

For Milwaukee. I thought Gianni’s would make lilliard way better, but it seems lilliard needs to chuck to score a bunch.

I still have the Bucks coming out of the East. Over the course of a long season I think BOS is the better team, but I still don't trust Tatum/Brown in big games. They both disappear too often. I'm rolling with Giannis/Dame when it matters.
I think I'm just gonna become a Thunder fan and jump on that bandwagon. Let's go Thunder!!

Dame is definitely coasting out there on defense. Will he be able to turn it up when it counts, that is the question. At his age I can't really blame him for some regular season coasting.

Re: Around the League
“We have a new wave of players coming up,” Fournier, the New York Knicks veteran who first suited up for the French national team at the 2014 FIBA World Cup, said. “We have guys that are going to be drafted in the next three years that have real potential, and I think it’s an exciting time to be a French fan, period. Because when you look at the cycle that we had, the last guy that got drafted that was playing, really, was Rudy. Frank [Ntilikina] has been unfortunately struggling, Killian Hayes is struggling, Sekou Doumbouya is struggling. So to have a young player that comes in and has an impact — [Wembanyama] and Bilal — it’s great for France to have new faces.”

Fun fact… heading into tonight, Cam Whitmore has 6 assists.
For the season.
