Opening Day 2009, Citifield will Open! Shea Stadium, after over 60 years of service will be demolished...Hopefully all the acoustic problems will have been solved (I am 100% confident they will be). Anyway the Citigroup is reportedly pay $20 million a year for the naming rights, the highest in history :o

Anybody who finds or takes pictures of the progress of the stadium, please post them here. I'm anxious to see what our new stadium looks like as it's being built.

Good thing it's going to be a pitchers park too, Omar made sure of that.

Parking already is a nightmare at Shea due to this field, and it will continue once this Field is opened. Sure it looks nice and all, but it will be hard for me to forget the memories at Shea. Ill continue to call this field Shea and not Citifield.
