I mean I’m fine with those, the one I’m NOT fine with is Jim Bob cooter

That’d be insane

But Ron Rivera and wink would bring leadership to that side of the ball. It’s also clearly taking away nicks responsibility a bit

Ron Rivera is a good coach. He was in a bad situation in Washington. Glad he’s getting another shot as a DC.

Yeah I’d like a Ron Rivera hire. Basically make him the head coach of the defense. He develops LBs and he’s a great lockerroom guy.

Wink is sketchy because he came after daboll, so I’m not sure how he fits with Nick lol.

Ron Rivera’s calm demeanor I think will also help Sirianni. Rivera can show him how to conduct himself (in practice and game day). It’s ok to have class.

Wink would be a good hire if you have DB's good enough to play man coverage.

Bradberry matched up in Cover zero???? Oh boy...

I guarantee if the eagles get Jim Bob cooter and/or wink, nick sirianni is gonna literally fight them.

They’re gonna get rid of him so that should be fine. I don’t think they’ve actually interviewed wink tbh.

He’s also a smart guy. Knows defense. I’d feel good about him leading the defensive room, keeping guys accountable.

If they hire Jim Bob cooter it should be a requirement that he’s referred to as eagles offensive cooter

The eagles should also just trade Jalen hurts since he’s going to develop even more bad habits

Speaking of DC's...I think it's pretty telling that Clint Hurtt hasn't gotten an interview.

Last year Hurts won the NFC. This year Purdy wins the NFC. Does anyone pass memo's to Jerry?

I wonder who Dallas will get as DC . A lots going to change unless maybe it’s a Dan Quinn deciple . Not many people do it like Quinn which could mean different roles for Donovan Wilson and Marquese Bell . Which makes for a crowded “ conventional” safety group which means they will not Bring Jayron Kearse back . Quinn loves those lengthy tweeners to put in the box but will the next DC ? This creates a personel problem . Also Quinn loves Jordan Lewis . And he is the best tackler probably on the team . Expect him to go to Washington because he’s a FA also . Now you need a slot . Which Bland is outstanding at but Gillmore is also a FA and you guessed it Quinn has a love affair with him as well .

Mike Vrabel would probably be my choice right now and if the defense is stout but they still can’t even make the NFCCG he’d be in line to replace MM .

Neither has connections to the Cowboys or MM. Jerry prefers hiring guys he’s familiar with. That’s why I think it will be Zimmer.

Whoever the Eagles hire it sounds like Siriani won’t have much say . Apparently when Howie and Lurie met with NS they gave him the same option they gave DP which was were firing and hiring who we want . DP said no and was fired . Nick said ok . River Boat Ron will be good for the LB and with 2 2nd round picks may persuade Howie into actually drafting 1 high .

Yeah I figured that’s what would happen. Sirianni seems like the type that does what needs to be done. Sounds like Brian Johnson and especially Sean desai needed to go. I think sirianni for sure has less power than he did a year ago. I also think howie and Lurie probably regard Vic fangio as the most important coach on the staff at the moment outside of Jeff stoutland. I think if fangio tells howie he likes a guy in the draft and sirianni likes another guy, howie is gonna go with fangios guy.

If Jerry was serious about “Going all in” then this is the guy they would sign in free agency.
