Fultz and JI both suffered knee injuries in the recent past, and NBA basketball is one of the most physically damaging activities in the world. Ideally, no player would need to play 82 games plus playoffs, so I can’t fault the organization for trying to protect the health of physically vulnerable players. Better to have them around for some of the game than to have them hurt their knees again.
