You don’t think they have specific matchups and places they want to try to generate looks and shots from? Dude, these are pros, of course they have a game plan which is going to influence who’s shooting.

I think he can put him in places where he's more likely to get looks, but most plays from either team in all games seems read and react. You'll have set plays out of timeouts or if a team wants to attack a weak defender, but a lot of it is free flowing.

Go watch the opening dozen plays of any game Wendell starts this season and you’ll see the plays called for him. Ball movement happens as a result of a game plan and the defensive rotations they expect. Carter is absolutely a factor in that.

The amount of plays the Magic run where the only result is "Wendell is taking this shot" is a tiny number each game.

If Franz and Wendell run a 3/5 pick and roll, the ball only ends up in Wendell's hands on a lob if the defense defends it a certain way. That's not a "play" for Wendell. He's a finishing option off Franz's creation.

It's legit just shot making and turnovers.

Have a veteran lead guard like Tyus or Conley or something, you'd see less games like this.

Have a team full of shooters, you can bomb away as long as you have dynamic gravity somewhere on the team (Mitchell).

I keep trying to tell people on Twitter that any good team that knows how to defend us will beat us in the playoffs if we keep these same guys.... We scored 2 points in the paint the the 2nd quarter..... Just lock down the paint and we can't win... But on Twitter they are like married to these guys, they want to "run it back" or see what this team can do in the playoffs... We'll you're seeing it now

These kinda nights are just gonna happen with us. If the other team gets crazy hot then we have no shot. If we coulda scored like 58. We'd still be losing but at least we would be in it. We just dont have the offense to stay in games like this. Tyus Jones doesn't fix that issue.

The fact is how many bigs like WCJ are even relevant in the nba these days?

Think we overrate how valuable he is.

You can already tell that the Cavs are going to hit about 5 or 6 3s in the first 6 minutes to make sure Orlando know this game is over.

They ran a play for Wendell out of a timeout!

Oh wait, no they didn't. Allen didn't guard him and he didn't have to move.

Is it me or does Wendell always look lackadaisical unless he has the ball.

Someone like Tyus Jones would help because he'd help control the ebb and flow to the game. Run our offense, control turnovers. And the deficit wouldn't balloon like it did.

Mitchell is an All-NBA player. He's better right now than any other player on the Magic and it's not close.
