Helped my daughter make some air fried pickles using hot Cheetos as the crust. Had more fun doing that then watching this game.

Baked feta and veggies with some bread. Snuck some chocolate chips for dessert, then had an orange a little later.

My take on WCJ is that he would be an AMAZING bench big. Check to see if his head is in the game, if not, he get's his regular bench minutes. If he's on, he gets to keep playing.

I'd trade him for a real starting PG... but he's on a good contract and there is no rush to trade him IMO. But I wouldn't hesistate to move him if someone offered a guard like Dejounte for him and a few picks.

He's an on-court cancer. Terrible body language.. feels entitled to the ball instead of finding it. I'm not a fan.. I'd trade him and Fultz for a shooter and Tyus Jones.

Well, The Cavs shot the lights out tonight especially Sam Merrill and overall, the effort really wasn't there.

A few games too much like this the last few weeks.... Not good.

I would go after Herb and Tyus. They have the pieces and picks to make a couple of nice moves.

Players in and out of the lineup does us no favors for continuity on both ends. Need to regroup and hope these players play with more urgency.

Wendell Carter is not, and will never be an offensive focal point of the Magic's game plan. That is straight up ludicrous to suggest.

He is a POSSIBLE pass recipient based on how the ball handler reacts to the defense. Nothing more than that.

Basically every single "set" the Magic ran tonight was Paolo, Franz, Cole or Ingles initiating some sort of offense, either through an isolation, a pick and roll, a dribble hand off, whatever the case.

And then *AFTER* that action, sometimes the ball eventually made it's way to Carter and he took a shot because he was open.

There was literally nothing in the Magic's game plan tonight, or any night, where they're specifically looking to get Carter a single extra shot more than anybody else that isn't Paolo or Franz.

If it happens to be that the defense dictates the man with the ball making the read to find Carter, then that's what it does, but the Magic have no real control over how a defense chooses to defend an action either.

I really want Paolo and Franz to do the post game interviews for this game. I really want to see how they process these types of losses and wonder if they will take blame for any of this. Just curious what type of leader they are. When we lose like this the Magic PR team usually let others player talk and I really want them to take ownership.

Knightro wrote:Plays do exist. For guys who handle the basketball.

This is silly and you know it. Plays are a set of actions orchestrated to have an intended effect on the defense. Guys off-ball are just as involved in plays as the ball handler because they have to work with the ball handler and have a sense of where they should move - based off a collection of plays they have practiced for many years.

Knightro wrote:The Magic don't really call post ups for Wendell. They don't really let him work in isolation from the elbows. He doesn't get basically any traditional plays called specifically for him to take the basketball and try and attempt a shot.

He's the beneficiary sometimes of plays called for other people who draw defenders over and then pass him the ball. But that's not the friggin game plan for goodness sake.

Being a big who sets a screen and then becomes one of 3-4 possible options for a pass is not the coach deciding before the game that the plan of attack is center against a certain matchup.

My goodness.

You think Mosley is saying “just go out and set some screens and react and everything should be ok”? You don’t think they have tape on opposing teams and an idea of where they are more likely to generate open looks? You don’t think Wendell is mentioned once?

Goga is purely an opportunistic scorer. Wendell is heavily involved in the offensive off-ball movement and he’s often the final recipient of those play calls. No it’s not the same as dumping the ball to Embiid or Jokic to create, but nobody said that was the case.

We have to improve our guard rotation if playoffs really is the goal here. Having Paolo initiate at the top of the key is not sustainable and Franz is more lethal off the ball and attacking on the move.

This is my post of the year award winner so far

Need more of these types of posts on these sorts of nights. If the front office and ownership doesn’t care why should we? Let’s talk about something fun.

Made healthy chicken gyros with my wife (we are trying to cook more often) they were incredibly good! Then had some chocolate with the kids. Completely helped offset this garbage on my tv.

Wasn't Wilt Chamberlain on the 76ers? Didn't he have a 100 point game? How is 70 points a franchise record?

Wilt's record with the sixers was 68pts. His 100pt game was with the Philly Warriors (who became the GSW).

Heck of a performance obviously, but the parade to the FT line for him is absolutely disgusting. You're just not allowed to guard him.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.
