What if LeBron never left the Cavaliers? Yes, the first time.

I think the better question is what if Carlos Boozer never left Cleveland.

What if the Kings won the 2002 WCF?
What if Chris Webber didn't tear his meniscus in the 2003 playoffs?
What if Stephen Curry didn't sprain his MCL in the 2016 playoffs?
What if DeMarcus Cousins didn't tear his Achilles in 2018?

For the Raptors, what if Vince Carter didn’t attend his UNC graduation the day of a game 7 playoff game.

What if...

-Shawn Kemp never melts down and stays in SEA?
-David Stern vetoes the deal to move the Sonics?
-Stoudemire and Diaw don't get suspended in that series vs the Spurs?
-The coin flip that resulted in KAJ ended up in favor of PHX?

What if the Celtics won the 1958 Finals against the St. Louis Hawks? The Hawks won 4-2. EACH of their 4 wins was a squeaker -- 3 points or less. The Celtics actually outscored the Hawks in the series overall.

Would 12 consecutive Finals victories make Bill Russell the undisputed GOAT and made RealGM 50% less busy? Would all NBA courts be made of parquet? Would Heinsohn have been even more of an insufferable homer? Is that even possible?

What if the 1999 NBA lockout never happened?

What if Michael Jordan decided to keep playing instead of becoming the Wizards President in the event of no 1999 lockout?

What if Shawn Kemp stayed in better shape and kept playing on a high level with the Cavs...in the event of no 1999 lockout?

What if Vince Carter and McGrady continued to play together in Toronto?

What if Jason Kidd signed with the Spurs in 2003?

What if Reggie Miller accepted Bostons offer to come out of retirement to play for them in 2007-2008?

What if the Chicago Bulls kept Lamarcus Aldridge instead of trading for Tyrus Thmoas

In 1998 it was talked of that the Miami Heat was trying to reunite TIm Hardaway and Mitch Richmond on the team along with Alonzo Mourning. What if that happened?

What if Shaq was on the Dream Team.

Would they have broken his confidence?

What if wolves had drafted the best shooter of all time intead of 2 other PGs in front of him in the same draft?

What if Bogut never broke his arm/elbow back in his breakout year? Would he ever be traded for Monta? Would the Warriors become a dinasty without that trade?

What if Stoudemire never got suspended in the playoffs against San Antonio?

What if the Jazz didn't have to sell Dominique Wilkins to the Hawks just so they could make payroll? A core of 'Nique, Stockton and Malone could have done some damage.

What If Kevin Durant never left the Thunder is the big one. KD and Russ Thunder could have beaten them in a series the next year and went on to the Finals. Probably lose to the Cavs, but still a great achievement for the franchise.

What if Kawhi doesn't get hurt against the Warriors while up 30+ in game 1 of the series? Not only does that series change significantly, but he also never leaves SAS.

Nobody is arguing Giannis vs Jokic if this happens because only Bucks fans would care.

Another one for the Bucks:

What if Dr. J decided to go to Milwaukee when they drafted him.

Kareem-Dr.J-Oscar

talk about a big three

The domino effect of what would have happened if Chris Paul went to the Lakers is pretty interesting.

G - James | Rondo
G - Bradley | Caruso
F - Green | Caldwell-Pope
F - Davis | Kuzma | Morris
C - McGee | Howard

Brandon Roy and Derrick Rose are the biggest what ifs. Rose in particular never even hit his prime and got an MVP and had some stellar playoff performances.

What if Brian Scalabrine decided to use 100% of his effort instead of 5%, and became the GOAT of all GOATs?
