Would the Warriors let us talk to Atkinson and Pels let us talk to D’antoni? I’d prefer both of them to Doc or Stotts.
still learning the game

i said the same thing a few months ago. they couldn't fire Grief, unless they had a LEGIT HC in line, the only guy out there is Doc. He has milwaukee ties, is popular, and players like him.
Hopefully Doc has something left or can at MINIMUM get the players organized and playing good basketball.

Atkinson is an assistant for Golden State right now, can we even interview him?

Atkinson would love to get out of that train wreck.

Oh god. No one deserves this.

Yes and No. Griffin was a complete disaster. This board doesn't want Doc but if the choice is Doc or Griffin, it has to be Doc. And our owners won't be afraid to can him too if it doesn't work out.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I want to know how bad things were. Thankfully we are 30-13 and everything we want is to accomplish is still in front of us.

I am NOT excited about Doc, to be very clear, but I will keep faith in Giannis and Dame if given a coach that is basically anyone other than who we got the first half of this season. Get us to the the post-season, shore-up the defense, and get the **** out of the way of our two superstars.

So if the choice is Doc or Griffin you're taking Griffin?

I guess I am one of the few people who has always thought Doc was a pretty solid NBA head coach. At worst he's an obvious upgrade for Griffin. Hell, Prunty is a pretty solid upgrade over Griffin.

The Sixers would have beaten Boston in the playoffs last season with Doc if two chokers (Embiid, Harden) didn't choke.

Certainly won’t lose sleep over Griff but Doc Rivers will be an equal disaster. I’m assuming anyone excited over the potential of Doc Rivers hasn’t watched much NBA over the past 15+ seasons eh?
