Riley will try to get someone from the buyout market and we'll continue to see a lot of small ball. Jovic has shown some flashes and with his size I am good keeping him.

Martin is probably gone after this year unless something (trade) happens that opens up some cap space.

You could be right but getting off Duncan’s contract almost seems like a necessity now with Roziers long term money coming in

Or Herro

If the Rozier/Herro backcourt fails to produce results, Mia should look to unload Tyler in the offseason

If you wanted to know who needs to cut down their shot diet to spread the wealth I present Herro Exhibit A.

Highsmith or potential Caleb need to start at the 4 and Duncan needs to start at the 2 over Herro. Move Herro back to his 6MOY role, he will be redundant with the starters and will be taking shots/usage away from 3 better players

I mean Miami as a team only got to 87 against the Magic on Sunday....

Let's just agree that peak Bam will hover between top 20-30 player in the league until he develops a consistent three-point shot. And unless he gets a ring, probably won't qualify for the HOF.

Damn, no one agreed.

I really really wanted Dejounte for awhile. Over Dame as well (for age, salary, and defence) But..

Terry + Jovic (and a buyout player) >>> Just Murray

LET'S GO!!

This might be a foolish question to ask but for cap purposes at the end of season does his Herro actual value count or do we still include the incentives he is unlikely to make. Herro signed a 120/4 year deal but in reality it's a 110/4 year deal unless he gets selected as all NBA etc, something thats not realistic. It's not impossible but not realistic for him to reach. The means his actual contract next year will be for 26.5 mil not 29 mil as long as he doesn't reach those incentives. That should give us some wiggle room right? The same should apply to this year so Herro actual contract is 24.5 mil not 27 mil.

I like this idea

Rozier
Herro
Butler
Olynyk
Adebayo

Is a nice 5. Kelly is basically who they want Jovic to be, although personally I think Niko has a better handle and off the bounce passing ability, but much less interior scoring ability and less proven outside shot.

I actually prefer that we kept our home grown talent vs clearing out the cupboard. At least they got Brogdon I guess

Bucks in turmoil

Wow what a setback mid season. They really messed up with that hire.

So the Milwaukee Bucks have yet to recover from last playoff beat down. Still in turmoil, and trying to get on equal footing, the Lillard transaction has not looked as well as they thought it would, their defense looks terrible.

Wait.... They added Lillard while trading Jrue and thought the defensive drop-off wouldn't be that noticeable. Who would have seen this coming? Lol even when we lose.... we win.

We could just bite the bullet and keep him for this last playoff run as well.

AirP. wrote:Well, Miami addressed their need for a vet scorer at a position of need, they're a much stronger team now and for the next few years. I do wonder what the next move is.

The next move SHOULD be simple -

Move Martin for a PF.

You can also use Duncan, but Duncan is more important despite having Herro.

Martin at this point is a luxary, we're crowded at the wing and I trust JJJ and even Cain to fill some minutes.

PF is a big hole, so try to find a PF that earns around what Martin does, we can add Dru Smith and Bryant if needed.

I’ll take the loss like you did with Bosh vs. Bam poll.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?
