Doc Rivers Emerges As Candidate For Bucks' Job

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Jan 23, 2024 7:46 pm

The Milwaukee Bucks will strongly consider hiring Doc Rivers as head coach after firing Adrian Griffin.

The Philadelphia 76ers parted ways with Rivers after their second round exit. Rivers played collegiately in Milwaukee for Marquette.

they really shouldn't if they want to advance in playoffs.

Agreed. Doc has proved he can't make proper adjustments in playoff series in the past. With the Clippers and Sixers.

Hah - surely they couldn't be that stupid! It would automatically put them out of contention.

If anyone wants to know how bad Rivers is as a coach, listen to Maxey and Embiid talk about him on Maxey's podcast.

I'd like to see Nate McMillan get another head coaching job.

Bring Stotts back. He should’ve never been overlooked to begin with.

Doc, Nate, Atkinson, and Brett Brown would be good too.

Perfect fit for Doc who exclusively coaches stacked rosters.

Flawed stacked rosters. This team needs a defensive guard, not a new coach

Someone like Jrue Holiday would be perfect for them, if they could also get a good two-way role player like Grayson Allan it would be amazing. Maybe they could trade Lillard - they don't need more offense, and he is such a poor defender...........

Yes about Stotts... but Nate McMillan is a travesty of head coach. Doubtful he ever gets another shot. I'm falling asleep just thinking about his offensive sets.He suffers from a complete lack of creativity.

As they have no defensive capabilities at all, they should go all in on offense and hire Mike Dan Tony

Way to double down on your mistake

Pass on nurse
Hire his unproven assistant
Fire him mid season
Then hire a proven overrated failure

Wow

Lolol are players not allowed to talk to each other or something because of tampering? I'm sure Giannis, Dame, etc have to be boys with players who played for this dumbass and blew a 3-1 lead smh lol

Oddly enough, they had that guy. They just chose to give him away. Now, that guy is rocking in Boston and doing great whilst Milwaukee fires their new HC mid season.
