Upon the court, a coach in strife,
Lost in troubles, a troubled life.
Defeats and angst, a heavy load,
His reign of triumph hit the road.

The owners spoke, "It's time to part,
For victories flee, and troubles start."
In sorrow, the coach left behind,
A legacy of a troubled kind.

Enter a doctor, wise and clear,
Not with a ball, but healing ear.
Grief transformed, a brighter day,
The court revived, in a hopeful play.

No longer lost, the coach's plight,
With health restored, and spirits light.
A tale of triumph, a lesson true,
How grief can fade, and dreams renew.

Skillfully done. You've got the ear. Nice.

I used ChatGPT to crank it out in about 15 seconds, which seems appropriate because using modern technological programs to do things like analyze the success of a defensive scheme for example were absolutely lost on the former coach.

So we'll likely have someone named by then.

That's my guess. Otherwise why wait.

If Doc wins a championship with us he immediately goes from a punchline to one of 4 coaches ever to win one with two different teams.

It’s gotten better at poetry since last fall. Used to stumble on meter. Last line is still awesome.

Marques calling out the Bucks during that game and since then was a big sign that Griff was on the hot seat within the organization.

Yeah Marques had never really done that. All of a sudden he's critical on air and online.

Johnny Mac would gripe and grumble harmlessly, but never really go after the team. Marques was flat out challenging the integrity of the players. It's something I can't recall happening in nearly 25 years of watching the Bucks.

Was at the Utah game. Definitely think that was the last straw, and glad to see that the Boston blowout didn't fool anyone. The atmosphere during it was all sorts of weird. The players, the crowd, the broadcasting team. Everyone just kind of looked shell-shocked as we got run off the floor by a lottery squad. It definitely had the feel of a "oh **** things really are bad" moment for everyone in the building.

Exactly. Although one time Mac threw down his headset in disgust. I don't remember what triggered it lol. I hope Marques is back tomorrow night

I would put every single one over Griffin.

Equal or over Doc are Spoelstra, Carlisle, Thibs and Nurse.
