This firing was overdue despite the optics. Hiring a rookie HC for this team with an aging core and championship or bust aspirations never made sense to me. The whole Stotts ordeal proved this was a disaster from Day 1. At least Horst was smart enough to acknowledge the mistake sooner than later.
This is the same organization that hired a fedex manager after their main guy bailed right

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Bringing back Bud is really stupid and won't happen. He blew 4 good playoff chances and was lucky once.
On the bud part spot on yet no one ever says that its always how grest he was he was the joe maddon of basketball pissed away a great core for 1 ring

We just wasted a year of Giannis n Dame. Doc short term is better than AG. Next coach after Doc fails yet again, that one we can't botch.
In reference to our title winning year

Completely low-brow and idiotic.
That's *why* it fits Griff perfectly. He wasn't work the mental effort to come up with something clever.

I kinda think all that remains is to figure out how many days the social norm is to have a casual consultant take the job you used to hold. Just feels done.

Chris Haynes’ line about Doc’s experience coaching stars stood out to me.
Few coaches have his experience there:

Few coaches have his experience there:
Milwaukee has also formulated a short list of candidates that includes Jeff Van Gundy and Nate McMillan, sources say.
Rivers, though, may ultimately have the edge due to his experience coaching stars.

Dont know why you all feel doc is short term.He will be there as long as core is together.Hes not leaving ESPN to coach milwaukee for 50 plus gsmes then fade back to ESPN.If doc comes it will be under a 3 year deal

Assuming both teams make it past the 1st round, as long as we don't bring Bud, I like our chances of getting out of the 1st round this season....lol.
Doc would have the chance to stick it to the franchise that just fired with him, two top 75 players (Who don't choke) on his side.
Just as long as we don't go up 3-1 on the Sixers, because then we're screwed.

Does his experience blowing 3-1 series leads and having 10 game 7 losses in his tenure do anything for you?
