I don't see the logic in hiring anyone other than Atkinson if he was one of their finalists. Unless Golden State has something in his contract.

My Lord, they must have been appalled at what they saw.

Would love to see their faces during the practice

Whoever takes over, don't expect a lot of quick changes. We have 4 games in the next 6 nights and a long road trip. Very few practices.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

He's well known for going up in a playoff series and then choking it away.

Not buying the "braced to take a step back" spin as to why they hired Griffin. "This wasn't the position he originally signed up for." What a load of bs.

Doc’s Bucks beat the Sixers, Celtics, then Clippers in the finals to exorcise all his demons.

(Ben Simmons can watch from home).

James Harden not liking Doc is almost like an endorsement for Doc. If James Harden don't like, you must be doing something right.

Kenny is 118-190 as a HC. 1-4 in the playoffs. Of course talent matters but it's not like he has experience of deep playoff runs.

Look, if we hire Doc giving him more than a 6 months contract, that would be a disaster. It would be better to let Griffin ruin the season and then hire a good coach in '24 summer. But if we give Doc only 6 months, that would not be so bad. Doc himself won't have much anxiety, noone will blame if **** hits the fan and we'll get the best of him (Not much but still). He won't hesitate to call players out, players will shut the f up and obey him, so, who knows. Doc is not a bad coach. He is not good either but he is capable enough to pave the way. If our players are so good as we think they are, they can do the rest and lead us into the Promised Land.

I prefer Atkinson, for sure. Him and Stotts are my preferred coaches.

Not Prunty, players will eat him alive. McMillan is underrated, he is a good defensive coach, i remember his work in Pacers. He did a good work in Atlanta too, not his fault that the Front office there is incompetent. D'Antoni is an offensive coach, we don't need something like that, even though he is the better than all of them overall. Plus he is old.

I will throw Itoudis name too. Not because he is Greek, for real, i don't even like the guy, he doesn't seem like a good person. But he is a very good coach, with x's and o's like Nurse, seriously, he may be more brilliant than every other one here. However, American players don't know him and i am sure they will disrespect him. And then, media gonna blame Gm Giannis again for "bringing his clueless Greek friend from the National Team". So, Itoudis as a head coach is not probably a good idea. As an assistant coach, maybe he would be good.

Or maybe we should wait for Darvin Ham or Vogel. Run it with Prunty and we'll see, either way, Atkinson/Doc/Nate would still be available until someone of them gets fired.

You guys really think Griffin was listening to consultant Doc after he didn’t listen to assistant coach Stotts, the latter of whom he successfully drove out of town?

Honestly, him not listening to a guy they brought in as a consultant was probably another reason they fired him.

Imagine Doc & and Giannis teaming up together against Harden in an NBA Finals. That might be fun.

Will the new coach tell them to play defense? if so I'll take it. This team was unwatchable.

Hire JVG as Doc’s assistant or “Associate Head Coach” if he needs the title what else is Jeff doing.

Well if doc was consulting Grief and Doc and Stotts apparently have a legit beef…
