I can talk myself into Doc. The sixers, with a backcourt of maxey and harden, were a highly rated defense. He also won't have to deal serial chokers like embiid, simmons, or harden or management actively throttling his roster by getting rid of a jimmy butler level player.

Yeah, I mean if we’re laying all of Doc’s failures solely on him, we at least need to mention that he’s coached three of arguably the biggest playoff chokers in modern NBA history in Paul, Harden and Embiid.

Let's not go down the road of the AG personal stuff. It's irrelevant. He's gone.

Is it weird that Bucks fire Griff and Rozier to Heat occurred at the same time... related?

So what has KA done to warrant this love or is it juat the hate for doc.KA regular season record sucks PO record is 1-4 what makes anyone think hes a bring them to the chip coach

I am actually one of the few people around here who would prefer Doc over Atkinson.

I wouldn't be mad if we hired Atkinson, he seems decent. But I don't get what is so special about him that he is some people's top choice.

We need a big name now. Someone Giannis might listen to. Someone who tells Giannis what he does wrong.

I wonder if Atkinson is waiting out Kerr to see if he can take over the GS job.

Very possible. Many expect Kerr to step down.

Maybe I’m being naive but get Giannis/Dame to a 3-1 lead or a game seven and I like their chances no matter who the coach is.

Thank you. We're not dealing with Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. Get these guys to the playoffs with less clown **** and let them cook.

He’s the all time leader in coaching history with 10 game 7 losses. And like was stated, 1 of his biggest pros is his experience coaching star players. Acting like “it’s Dame and Giannis” is a bullish stance to take here.
RIP Kobe Forever. GOAT 8-24. Long Live Giannis

I mean if Horst is about to announce a Murray trade in tandem it would.

I woke up and felt like Christmas in January.

For the first time in the giannis era I stopped watching games in the last month. I was usually watching 60-70 games per RS.

It was just too frustrating watching them under perform. It was unthinkable that would happen after getting Dame.

Now I'm not so sure about Doc, sounds like retread of the same old guys, BUT he's definitely been a competent coach with success.

Whats shocking about AG, is this bucks team, they are all decent guys without bad attitudes and complaints.

Giannis, khris, brook, even most of Dame career. All quiet guys without causing trouble.

And during the Bud era all we saw was just tons of love and fun, it's actually surprising there have been lockeroom issues INSPITE of being top 3 team in the NBA (record wise).

It's an absolute damning reflection on AG.

Like how bad was this guy to make players who are known to be "good soldiers" so pissed off.

Anyway. I never believed gm and owners head the balls to pull this off but in guessing they had lost the players and had no choice.

Why do we feel bad for him? AG is a total knob.

I am with you.

Doc couldn't close the deal with these guys.

These guys are literally a who's who of some of the biggest chokers in modern NBA history.

Replace CP3 & Blake Griffin with Giannis and Dame on the Clippers when Doc was there and replace Simmons/Harden & Embiid with Giannis & Dame on the Sixers when Doc was there and how many NBA Finals appearances does Doc have on his resume? Like 5 or 6 if you include his 2 trips with the Celtics?

Doc put those guys in great position to do big things, but those guys couldn't close deal.

The crazy thing is despite Griff we are still 2nd on the ladder. Surely Doc can take us up a few notches
