2024 era Lob City but with Dame-level shooting.

Nah Giannis is going to be relegated to roll man and Dame forced into a role that he isn’t good at. It’s going to be painful. One or both is going to have to go off script. I bet both are going to be miserable.

Did you watch Philly last season? Embiid literally won MVP last year playing a two man game with Harden where he wasn’t relegated to being the roll man.

Yep. And Harden was miserable and demanded Doc be fired. How did they do in the playoffs?

That's because Embiid is threat from everywhere on the floor. That's why he wasn't relegated to a roll-man. Not sure if we want Giannis taking 50% of his shots from outside 10ft+ like Embiid does.

I can't be excited about this change because it's still a downgrade from the coach we should not have fired over the summer.

The good thing with Griffin is that he was so bad that it was a question of time before he got fired. Rivers on the other hand could prove mediocre enough to waste our 2-3 years of contention

Pretty much, we're not hiring the guy away from ESPN for just an audition and Rivers is enough of a rizzler that we'll have to waste of a couple years of contention before moving on. Griffin didn't seem social competent let a lot as a coach, how the hell was he ever hired?

Doc with no assistants geeez....

But like... Is this actually confirmed? There were conflicting reports and then everyone went to bed.

Doc “botching” opportunities is such a false narratives, at least with Philly. Such a **** show that it was remarkable he even had them in a Game 7 against Boston.

Dude better ball out and fall in line for whoever they bring in or it’s not going to be a good look. Time to set some screens and start joining the team during timeouts.

Its called a slip screen. That's the play being run.

You guys think Giannis won't set a full body screen but he'll risk tearing his ACL to win Chip?

GTFO here.

You alright? Talking about increasing the frequency of him playing off ball and being the screen/roll man.

At the end of the day, if that means we have to play more defense, get more rebounds, I have to set 50 screens for Dame to get an open shot, he knows, I know and I think the team knows I'm going to set those 50 screens.

This quote has been bull so far. Could be because the teacher lost control of the classroom but we’ll see.

Doc doesnt even have his assistants, they're not going to bring him in & fire him unless the team completely falls apart. This is our coach of the future, the coach of the rest of Giannis's prime.

Im guessing the hold up is the number of years..

Milwaukee is in a low leverage situation. Everyone knows that Doc is the most favorable option. We arent hiring Atkinson for several reasons, he was floated as leverage but its weak.

Milwaukee understandably doesn't want to commit past this season, especially since they are already paying two coaches.

What a god damn mess.

But we get this done. We bring PJ back. We trade for a sg who can defend.

Yeah, i like that

We fired Bud after winning a championship. We fired his replacement after winning 70% of his games halfway through his first season. You think if things aren't working with Doc who was simply just possibly the best of the worst type situation we're just weathering that storm?

Hiring Doc Rivers is just humiliating, the team is finished as a serious contender and now the whole franchise looks like a joke to the rest of the league. Firing Budenholzer is a total disaster, anybody saying otherwise is in denial. Giannis not wanting to play for Nurse reflects poorly on him and his legacy, he's just a low IQ basketball player not immediately wanting to play for championship coach.
