The Hornets were winning one of these two games, but there's not enough momentum, strategy, luck (and now, talent) to win both. You're either getting a major upset of the Timberwolves and a humiliating 99-87 defeat to Detroit, or a close win against a historically bad team and KAT hangs 84.

Plus, think about it. What's more Hornets (I know, there are a few things) than beating the No. 1 seed in the West, on the road, in an insane fourth-quarter comeback, then coming back and losing to one of the worst teams in NBA history?

Morale is low since Terry's been traded (not saying it should be, because the ball can move freely now, but it is). And it's the Hornets. This has all the makings of a "Really?" first quarter when it's 24-13 and the Sad Boys are cruising.

Can’t see the game but just spied the box early 3rd qtr. Looks like Richards is trying to shine and get traded from this mess. Miller really strong. I guess Melo is off. But this is the Pistons so I suspect we will squeak by.

Oh and Frank, Cliffs roommate I guess, getting time ahead of Jr is moronic. Can’t stand this DA coach.
