Re: Woj: Rivers hired
"Targeted over last 24 hours"
Based on reporting from NBA reporters, we're led to believe that 1) Doc was not aware Griffin was being fired yesterday despite being a consultant to the coach brought on by the FO, 2) he was not yet approached about a job offer until Griff was fired and 3) he accepted the position this morning. Meanwhile, CNN told us he had already accepted yesterday while both Shams and Woj were quiet.
It's a pretty good bet Rivers already had an agreement with the team prior to the Griff firing and this whole "courtship" is to give the appearance that he didn't go behind another coach's back to get him fired and take over his job. Doc Rivers is one of the biggest front runners in NBA history and has thrown people under the bus everywhere he's went. But he sends gospel songs to his players so it's a wash.

Doesn't matter. Milwaukee should be thinking about what their offseason plan is. Boston will be in The Finals.

Good lord what are they doing...Mid season at 33-13. Players and agents running the show I guess? Can't wait to watch Rivers whining and moaning about every whistle from now through their upcoming epic playoff collapse.

Not as hard as Horst.

All these media guys talking about defense. Don't know what they were expecting when they traded away Jrue Holiday and brought in Damian Lillard.
Now Bucks have their PO fortunes written in stone with hiring of Doc Rivers. Teams with championship aspirations should know by now that Doc Rivers is not the guy for the job.

This is pretty shameful behaviour all around. Giannis being a douche and the Bucks org literally f’ing around with a man’s livelihood.
Griffin, no joke, is an unemployed rookie head coach with the third highest winning percentage in NBA history. Ridiculous.
And don’t even get me started on Doc…garbage!!!
This isn’t going to go how they think it will. Karma bout to be a bitch.

They expect to us to believe this like how Giannis supposedly didn't know anything about the Dame trade.

So was Doc consulting them on replacing Griffin eventually? Where's the moral outrage?
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

reeks of desperation.

I was going to say it was subliminal, but I don't think Doc has that in his bag.
