i wonder if jaime can play at that position. i mean he is not small by any means and has excellent footwork to boot. what do you think about that since you are more knowledgeable than i

Jamie has been playing power forward.

It's crazy the hype DFS is getting a marginal at best upgrade over Highsmith the guy has been a meh 3 and player for ages and is declining athletically. I think Royce ONeal is way better he can put it on the floor and playmake and has excellent burst on his drives as well as being a 3 and D player.

Heat don't need another player fronting to be a playmaker

We get more out of trading Duncan then we do trading Tyler. At least Tyler you can include for a viable player in the future cause of his age and skill set. Duncan's value is you can attach an asset to him and get expiring's.

D-Rob has a bad stretch & we wanna trade him. While we're cheering him when he's balling & helping us win ball games. Don't do Dude like that mate. Dunc's driving has transformed his game giving him another dimension to help propel his 3pt shooting. He's having a good season for us.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Need his contract to fix this front court. 19.4 million for 15min off the bench is a luxury we can’t afford

Once JJJ comes back, Rosier gets acclimated and Spo figures out the rotations, this team will get back on track and I truly believe they will be a force to be reckoned with.

We'll be fine. Fans on here always lose their minds whenever we have a bad stretch.

You better ship Jovic ass out asap if that’s the hold up.

No. Jovic probably going to be better than Smith is now and Smith probably going to be out of league in two years.

If we're aiming for transparency and seeking to optimize the roster with everyone at the trade table, the suggested lineup is as follows:

PG: Rozier / 3&D Backup PG
SG: 3&D player / Richardson
SF: Butler / Jaquez
PF: 3&D player / Martin
C: Bam / Love

This configuration highlights the inclusion of two skilled ball handlers in Rozier and Jimmy, offering a well-rounded blend of three-point shooting, spacing, and defensive prowess.

However, the potential improvement lies in the possibility of trading players like Duncan, Herro, Jovic, etc., for two 3&D players. This adjustment would address the current imbalance in the roster. Yet, it's uncertain whether any significant changes will happen soon.

The deficiency in shooting from Bam and Jimmy emphasizes the need for improved shooting, even though Herro and Robinson contribute in this aspect, their defensive abilities are quite lacking.

introducing players of a similar caliber to KCP and DFS into the lineup would result in the optimal balance:

PG Rozier
SG KCP
SF Butler
PF DFS
C Bam

I keep saying it. Until we start playing defense again we're in trouble.

Looking at our wins we haven't beat one team that could be considered a title contender except for Cavs and Donovan Mitchell was out that game. We beat the Lakers if you consider them true contenders but that's it.

He’s pretty bad and doesn’t effect winning at all, paid to only be a scorer but he’s our 4th best scorer, is a ball stopper and gets picked on constantly defensively (no matter how much some of you want to keep lying to yourself about his defense lmao) team is always better without him, always.

All that aside, I value him at 2 1sts. We’re receiving a 1st and I believe the players were receiving as a whole are definitely worth a 1st plus we’re saving a ton of money and getting out of the 2nd apron for next season. It’s a fair deal on both sides

Meanwhile Wade continues to do Patrick’s job for him, we’ve still yet to acquire a big name player that isn’t a Wade protege :o

He played off ball tonight, made shots, and fed Bam. Felt like he did a good job tonight. Something to keep building on. We’ll be much better off dealing Duncan and Martin together as a package deal.
