The player rank carries the day for me on Paolo making it. I think the coaches will recognize him.

Man, this will be a huge recognition for Paolo and the team. It's going to come down to the last wild card slot, with the choice between Trae, Porzingis, Barnes, Butler, Paolo, and White I guess.

If the coaches align with what the players and media voted which is 4,5 respectively; with 6 spots open for front court players, when adding the starters, he could get in with an outright vote from the coaches for a front court spot. No need for a wild card.

60/40

Randle being injured helps. If we had won 3-4 more games, I’d be at 85/15.

They had a story featuring him on NBA.com today, so I will say yes, he will make it.

With Randle assuredly being replaced due to injury even if he does make it, I'm thinking Banchero's odds are quite high to get in.

We’re going to find out how much NBA coaches believe in the analytics. Are they going to punish him for being below average in efficiency or will they put him in because they send doubles at him every night?

I really don’t think coaches believe in analytics but we’ll see.

Want to know how much the national media cares about Orlando or Paolo?

Saw the ESPN ticker say something along the lines of 'Wemby and Holmgren headline NBA Rising Stars'

And here is the matching article:

Yep saw that too. Casual media doesn't pay attention to us at all right now.

Paolo, and thus the Orlando Magic suffered largely by shi*ty circumstances.

Paolo was #1 in a draft that wasn't touted as generational, and the NBA spent no time hyping him up even when he showed generational flashes because they started early with pushing Wemby before he was drafted as the new face of the NBA with the past generations reaching their twilight years (Lebron, Steph, KD)

Wemby had more nationally broadcasted games when he was playing in FRANCE than Orlando has had since drafting Paolo

That's the logic behind it, still think it's pathetic & disrespectful to the Magic franchise & Paolo

Wemby being mentioned is fine. Everyone gets why. Chet being mentioned over Paolo in the title and Paolo not even being mentioned in the article is pretty incredible.

He's his touted Unicorn rival. They'll be compared throughout their careers.

It's annoying, and we could really use the publicity, but my hope is Paolo & other Magic players take note of the disrespect & use it as bulletin board material.

Make them look stupid for not talking about us. Win 50+ games next yr, Paolo level up to 27/7/5, nobody will be able to ignore us then

THIS is the way...Paolo's doing his thing. Give him some air support and the winning and, I think, the assists will come. When someone who's not currently on this team scores 9 more points per game JUST off of Paolo's assists for spot-up 3's ...then national attention will see that Paolo is not just a bulldozer to the rim...triple doubles should be a regular part of his game.

That is how he separates himself from the Randles of the world and looks more like the Lebron's and Jokic's...assists, to go along with the rest.
