No extension. If he's so great then why are we begging for an upgrade at his position? If some dumb team thinks this guy is worth a big extension then figure out who that is and trade his ass to them. I'm tired of keeping guys around because they are good teammates or glue guys. His inconsistency every night is sickening.

thats just you man, and its because you spent years **** on the guy that you cant accept the fact that he has become a good player.

Which young player isnt "inconsistent"? Franz and Paolo havent had bad games?

Which shooter isnt "inconsistent"? This one guy had games where he shot 0/9, 0/8, 1/8, 2/7, 4/14, 4/14, 4/15 this season. Do you know who that is? The greatest shooter of all time, Stephen Curry.

Inconsistent is putting it kindly!

Please don't reply to my posts if your defense is that he's just like Steph Curry. Take that to the general board and see how that goes.

Suggs at this point is a shooting guard and most people are asking for the Magic to acquire a point guard for what it's worth.

You can take my post to the general board, maybe someone there can teach you proper reading comprehension.

I thought he was our answer there the day we drafted him. I never liked him as a PG. I thought we had our star SG of the future.

I'll settle with him as our future 6th man or trade bait.

I hope we extend Suggs with a good contract. He has earned it. I just hope he can have a spark of his game in the second half of the season. Suggs is definitely the reason where we are right now. I think his future is very bright

Suggs is definitely one to keep around he impacts winning.... Great teammate and is coachable......When he was regulated to a bench role he didn't pout or complain, he did what was asked of him... He's improved every season so far, yes he's earned an extension

Elite? I thought it was a way to save him from being a bust, but is that same things as saying he's gonna be elite? Lol. AG has talent, he's just not a leader. We asked him to do too much.

Matisse Thybulle is a good comp.

Suggs is more than capable of being a starting guard on a championship winning team and probably will be
- Missed 4 game
- High volume from 3
- Close to or making All-Defensive team
- Character and winning mentality

This is end of year 3, most guards take 4-5 years to mature. He is also he isn’t a chucker or team first player.

With Banchero and Franz Wagner on the team I think we need a legit point guard who can create and score, that’s works well with Suggs, he keeps the floor spaced, runs well, and plays elite defence.

What’s your ideal types Point Guard and Shooting Guard for this team, any specific examples?

Some perspectives. Last year:

Devin Vassell got Five years, $135,000,000
Jaden McDaniels got Five years, $131,000,000

So: expect 25-28M a year on a 5-year extension.

p.s. this emphasizes and reinforces clearly that F-Wagner will get a max extension. His 220M over 5 will thus be averaged at 44M a year.

Him always being injured may hurt. I think that's how the FO got Wendell on a team friendly deal.

No way in hell he signs for so little. He is a 39% shooter from 3 this year on a decent volume and an elite defender who will probably get a an All-Defense team nod. He is also missed only 4 gamees so far. Anything below 20 mln. per year would be a bargain for us.
I went with a 110% raise. Seems reasonable to me, with a player option in there.

whats the last player option magic gave?
