He's actually played pretty poorly for the season. It's his worst season as a scorer both in volume and efficiency in the last 5 seasons. He's not making as many dumb plays but it's not like he's making a ton of smart plays either.

This Celtics team always has players missing games, like KP, because they're trying to prevent injury.
Hard to get momentum when the team is always missing a piece or two every couple of games.

Even a Drummond would help, especially in the rebounding department.
Kornet can score and block some shots, but he's just not strong enough to get those big boy rebounds.

You're making my point here, Fierce1. Are you saying just losing KP is a good excuse to lose by 30+ points to the Clippers today? I thought this team's top 6 was more than adequate that when we lose one key player, we will still be competitive enough to win? Only Tatum showed up today to play. Did that ever happen to the '08 team?
The '08 Team's worst loss in that season was an 18 point loss to the Jazz, and it was because Ray Allen got injured early in the game, and Pierce shot just 1 of 7. That's their worst loss of the season.
As opposed to this game, where the Celtics knew that KP was out and had time to prepare. Looks like they didn't.
