Jaylenstans ?
How old are you ?

Ignore the point and turn to personal attack? Why am I not surprised?

It must kill you that most of the season he’s been playing well lol

No. What kills me is the only thing I wish Tatum was more like Kobe for. What kills me is that Tatum has not walked in the front office and said, “It’s me or him.”

What kills me is JB not focusing on shot quality vs quantity. Not building good habits during the season.

What kills me is the games he forces up 90% awful shots that happen to fall and we call that a good game.

Not sustainable WINNING basketball. But carry on….cuz

With a minute and a half to go, this has been our best quarter. Finishing strong. Proud.

Personal attack ? Oh grow up.

And you still don't have any counterpoint, just regurgitate the same meaningless ad hominem dribble, why is this exchange so familiar to me.
Jaylen's relative TS is now 100. It's down from 101 last season, which was down from 102 the season before, which was down from 103 the season before.

It's best if the Cs suffer a loss like this.

This keeps the team, especially the Jays, grounded.

If this Celtics team feels so good about themselves heading into round 1 of the playoffs, it might not end well.

A humbling experience like this reminds them that they're not that good yet.

KG, Ray, and Pierce rarely missed games.

This Celtics team always has players missing games, like KP, because they're trying to prevent injury.

Hard to get momentum when the team is always missing a piece or two every couple of games.

You're making my point here, Fierce1. Are you saying just losing KP is a good excuse to lose by 30+ points to the Clippers today? I thought this team's top 6 was more than adequate that when we lose one key player, we will still be competitive enough to win? Only Tatum showed up today to play. Did that ever happen to the '08 team?

The '08 Team's worst loss in that season was an 18 point loss to the Jazz, and it was because Ray Allen got injured early in the game, and Pierce shot just 1 of 7. That's their worst loss of the season.

As opposed to this game, where the Celtics knew that KP was out and had time to prepare. Looks like they didn't.

You really can't compare this 2024 Celtics team to that 2008 Celtics team.

KG, Ray, and Pierce were 30 years old or older at that time.

JT, JB, and KP are still 28 years old or younger.

Those 08 guys were already in their prime and playing the best basketball of their careers.

This current Celtics team still has some growing up to do.

The good news is this Celtics team is good enough to win it all.

Can't use age as an excuse for our current trio. They are all basically in their primes now and are battle tested with numerous runs in the EC and a Finals appearance. KG, PP and Ray were just better, and that '08 team was just better than this crew we have now.

You think that might have anything to do with him taking on more responsibility ?

I think Svi can be a more reliable player on offense than Hauser. Svi can play make and drive to the basket. He just wasn’t given any chance of a decent mins.

You mean like how his usage dropped and he's handling the ball a lot less? Or maybe you know of his other responsibilities. Maybe he's the team bookkeeper now, or watering everyone's plants, or earning a college degree in night school?

Kornet was playing well as of late.

While Queta clearly has the higher ceiling, he commits a lot of mistakes.

Queta just needs more experience.

The bad news is Queta might not be ready until next season.

They just had a "humbling" experience against the bucks just a few weeks ago. How many of these games must happen to get that point across?

Yup he won’t get ready. We really need an enforcer in the middle.

The disgraceful third quarter performances need to be addressed.

NBA players are in their prime when they're around 28-30 years old.

JT's body is not yet fully developed.

JB is a late bloomer, he still makes mistakes that a rookie makes.

And KP is just missing too many games.

Maybe right now KG, Pierce, and Ray are better, but JT, JB, and KP will most likely win multiple titles.

This is just the start something great for this current Celtics team.

My guess is once every month.

Even the great 2008 Celtics team dominated the regular season only to underwhelm in the 1st round against the Hawks.

Nobody expected the Cs would struggle against that 8th seed Hawks in the 1st round.

That series was the wake up call for that 08 team.

This current Celtics team still has flaws.

Let's just put it this way, apparently the Jays are slow learners.

It's true they have a lot of playoff experience, but they're still making stupid mistakes.

Only time can cure that.

Return to Boston Celtics
