You're really going to leave out the Knicks and Cavs when the Knicks are 12 games over .500 and the Cavs are 11 games over .500?

Knicks and Cavs don’t matter lol

even in some of the selective losses we were a shot from it looking differently. no one is happy about our losses but compare it to the league, it's not as bad as that whittle-down seems.

We also got two of those wins against an LA team without Kawhi and a Minny team without Gobert and Conley. So it could also look much worse. But the fact is it’s 5-6. But hey like homie said we beat the Knicks and Cavs..29-5 against teams that don’t matter what so ever.

Why don’t the Heat matter suddenly? Just need a reminder.

Doesn’t fit the argument lol.

I liked the black jerseys the Clippers practice squad wore tonight.

Tatum got good shots, and hit them.

Jaylen got good shots, he just didn’t hit them. Holiday got good shots, he just didn’t hit them. White got good shots, he just didn’t hit them. Al got good shots, he just didn’t hit them.

It’s a make or miss league. That’s the reality.

Don’t know why people want to pretend otherwise.

It’s not some giant flaw of the team that you can’t win when you have three players clanging absolute bricks all game.

This team would've d.e.s.t.r.o.y.e.d the Horford Hawks. Like, obliterated.

Back when the East was garbage.

They had no superstar and a bunch of actual role players.

Ridiculous comparison

Heat are 24-22. As dangerous as I feel like they could be in the playoffs, at the current moment they have lost 6 straight. You’re kidding if you think they matter right now.

Only a few days ago you were saying how dangerous they’ll be with Rozier under Spo

You’re missing the point friend. That team put up outstanding regular season numbers and got cooked when they saw LeBron in the big games because the way they won in the regular season was not sustainable in the big games. This Celtics team looks destined to flame out in similar fashion.

Celtics are 5-6 against the top 7. Other teams are as follows:

OKC: 5-4

MIN: 5-4

MIL: 2-1

DEN: 5-5

LAC: 3-5

PHI: 3-4

Newsflash, it’s hard going beating elite teams, especially in the regular season with all sorts of scheduling quirks, health issues etc.

I’m not missing any point.

That team didn’t have a chance at winning the title. Not even close.

They were winning games by overachieving on the back of a good system and coaching.

We have a top 10 player and maybe the best collection of elite talent in the league winning us lots of games.

A couple of days ago? I literally just said I feel like they will be dangerous in the playoffs. Like just now.

But they are a wake me up in the playoffs type team. Just like last year they sucked until the playoffs started and then they took our finals trip away from under our noses.

So we shouldn’t care what Miami does in the regular season but we should all be kicking and screaming whenever the Celtics lose a game in the regular season?

Regular season really isn’t that important for any contending team.

Im sure if I go back 9 years into the Hawks forum some Budenholzer stan was over there writing the same **** about them.

But one thing I’ll say is, I do hope you are right and we don’t flame out shooting 5-56 on three’s in a game 7 somewhere. Fingers crossed.

Since they literally napped all year last year, lost the 7th seed game and still went from the 8th seed to beating us as a 2nd seed, I feel like that right is a little tilted in their favor my man.

Plus nobody is kicking and screaming. We just here pointing out the big neon signs that spell doom for this team AGAIN (had these same convos last year and here we are again) and how it conveniently always shows up in big games against other elite teams. If you want to ignore them than do you..

Them and the Raptors were basically shining light on how bad the East was back then.

The Cavs were still favoured to win every season.

Celtics fans thinking their league leading team that lost the ECF in 7 games the year before and made the finals the year prior is a legit contender is a lot different to some delusional Hawks fan thinking their overachieving team can contend.

They didn’t nap. They had injuries and are a team with some big flaws that the Celtics unfortunately took too long to exploit.

I’m really not sure what the big signs that spell doom are about this team. Because they have a couple of bad shooting games and lose a few games?

Unless you’re expecting them to go 16-0 in the playoffs, they will lose some games in the playoffs too. Bad shooting nights happen.

Last seasons team didn’t have Kristaps Porzingis. Marcus Smart dropped off defensively. This is a different team personnel wise.

Elite teams lose games against elite teams. Go and check out the records of the other contenders against elite teams. They’re not any different.

Return to Boston Celtics
