All this being said, I'm not concerned about VW, I'm more concerned about Pop if anything and his ability go coach this team.

I see some people stating that the Spurs are tanking or giving their players free reign to develop. If you have zero direction or no generational talents on your team (like the Raptors for the past several years), them I think this is a plausible strategy. In fact, I wanted the Raptors to tank for VW.

But now that the Spurs have their guy, they should try to build a culture of winning and build good habits. I think building a culture of losing/dysfunction can have direction effects in years to come.

Yeah, he learned pretty fast about jumping around too much and how to use his length to contest. It's kind of insane how much verticality he has while his feet are nailed flat to the ground.

Best rookie I've seen in quite some time.
