Bonds indicted on purgery and other charges!

Post#1 » by GQStylin » Thu Nov 15, 2007 10:16 pm

Just heard on CNN breaking news that Barry Bonds has been indicted on purgery and other charges.

End of baseball career? What about the homerun record?

I just herd this too, this is some really big news. I wonder what's going to happen to his career.

Will fans ever look at him the same...

Pardon my ignorance about the legal law system, but don't they still have to prove it? What is the difference when he was being constantly alleged to using them anyways.

I dont think you are being ignorant, but I really dont think they would spend 4 years building up a case and then publicly announcing the indictment if they werent positive they would win.

I hear he could get up to 30 years.

But I bet he gets 0.

How do fans look at him now?

Seriously, Barry hasn't anything close to a squeaky clean image with the media or the fans. People who dislike him pretty much hate him. Not sure they could jack up their hate anymore. On the flip side I think fanboys will continue to admire him for the player that he is/was. Top level elite talent seems to create cavernous divides between fans and followers of their respective sports.

I guess I just want to say I don't like him but admired what he did on the field and that will likely remain the same whether he is proven guilty or not.
