We had to change that lineup because it was starting to suck.

Actually, our starting lineups in general have been just average at best. This current starting lineup I think has okay numbers.

Our real drop off has been the bench. Cole, Ingles and Moe were all top 20 in bench player production during our streak, and near unplayable lately.

One of Goga or WCJ should be traded to fix some of our roster issues. That said, I agree that the biggest reason for our drop off has been those 3 you mentioned. We should give Jett some minutes to see what he has but smaller trades for Monte Morris and/or Tyus should be something the FO is actively working on right now. No way can they see Cole out there and feel comfortable with what they have at point.

WCJ won't be traded unless Goga gets re-signed since Goga is a UFA.

I think Goga is more likely to be traded than people realize. Now, if we re-sign him or something out of nowhere, then I think it's very likely WCJ gets traded instead.

You seriously wouldn't trade WCJ for Simons or Herro because of Goga's FA status?

I'm sorry, but this doesn't past the sniff test.

If they trade Carter, then Goga would be stepping right into 30 MPG as the unquestioned starting center.

In what world is he going to leave a guaranteed starting role and starting money? It wouldn't happen.

It depends. Maybe if we planned to move on in the offseason anyway even if Goga leaves, signing someone else.. still... no guarantees we'd get a good C to sign.

Money talks. If someone wanted to pay him way more to do that on their team, what loyalty does he owe us?

The question would be can you resign Goga? You really don’t want to gave up WCJ unless you know you can resign Goga.

we're getting saved by the fact that phoenix defense isn't good....i'm observing that they're going under every screen and it's so disheartening that we can't make them pay.....we went under vs grizzlies they made us pay......phoenix going under vs us and we can't make them pay, we don't have the shooters....it's just frustrating

With this anemic offense, I'm fixing that first and worrying about the 5 spot afterwards.

I mean... who is gonna pay Goga more than the Magic would pay him if he spent like 55+ games this year as an effective starting center though?

Our team would be so **** without Paolo, complete joke for people who say he shouldn't make the all star

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.
