We sure as hell would, because you would ripped it apart and started us at zero, not reuiblding from the middle. But then again, you guys always pretend this or that or would have made only amazing decisions. But sure... the entire NBA rips down 48 win teams, every year.
False, you would be on the upswing currently with a roster matching Scottie's timeline.
Oh well.
You can’t say that for sure. In fact the likelihood would be that we wouldn’t. Even a team like Orlando is playing bad basketball and is hovering around .500 and they’ve been tanking for 3 years. Pistons are the worst team in basketball. Hornets not far behind. Rockets would be there as well had they not signed Fred. Spurs have been in the lottery for 5 years now, going on 6.
IQ and RJ are I believe around Scottie’s age as well. So that trio can develop together. I don’t have high hopes for RJ but the talent is there.
Houston and Orlando are on the upswing after 2-3 seasons. Spurs only tanked last season and were in team mediocre fantasy land previous 3+ seasons. Now they have a generational talent. Other teams have bad management but retrace this roster and the opportunities they had 2 years ago. They've been discussed here numerous times. Certainly would still have their 1sts. And I personally don't measure team improvement solely on W/L record, that's an oversimplified analytical approach.
