We hated to see Scoot go...Hated it...We still believe Scoot will become the best version of himself. Unfortunately, the nba g-league has a long ways to go when it comes to development. It's not a coincidence that so many g league guys that came into the league
with so much talent are not ready...

In Scoot's case he came into a situation where Dame requested a trade, Scoot got injured and he wasn't ready to run a team. Then Portland brought in Brog..etc...Then you have the sim that we play with...The Sim -only cares about numbers and this is
the type of decision you have to make when you want to compete...

I'm very happy with Herbert and Portis - they will be great pieces and contributors in Detroit.

Also would like to Welcome Jaren Jackson, Kyle Anderson, and Mr sim value Diallo...Oh and I dont think we welcomed Jaden Mc Daniels as well...

We are ecstatic in Detroit!

You’re ecstatic and that’s all that matters bro.

I think Jaquez is a special talent. That’s the one guy I was surprised you moved, but I’m guessing Utah demanded him lol. I thought he was a phenomenal acquisition for you. Will be interesting to see just how high his ceiling is.

Ofcourse I hated giving Jaime up New...The Mexican Manu is what I see for him...but again...this is the sim world+competing.. the strategy requires a different approach.

In the real world here are the players I would have kept:
Mitchell Robinson, Kuminga, would have drafted Pablo in stead of Jabari(you know thats documented),Herro, Scoot, and Jamie. I think I'm remembering everyone. Those guys would have went along with Barnes, LaMelo, Duren...
I would have relationships with them- I wouldnt have to worry about them in free agency. I would build a unique culture and they
would want to stay. I would bring in the right vets...etc...etc...But we dont whine and moan- we adapt and move forward...

Welcome to the team Christian Braun and Cason Wallace (and Reggie bullock i guess)

Both are viewed as long term pieces for us.

The hope is that Braun can slot in as the starting SG next to Jamal Murray so Jordan Clarkson can do his thing as the super 6th man.

Yea sim is a different beast. Many moves made here would not happen irl. Some transactions cater solely to the game, while others are made out of player projection or just being a fan. Gotta make moves if you feel it gives you a better chance to win now…or win eventually, which is what this game is all about. Building from the ground up/draft has its place, building through trades/ free agency has its place. Be it a 5 yr process or quick turnaround (see 2010’s Raptors) you gotta do what feels right to you and always have fun. That’s one aspect of the game I try to never lose sight of and that’s having fun. Enjoy what you built man. Hopefully the fruit of your labor leads to many victories.

I know I posted on Duren's career night already but I had to give the 20 year old some more attention

So far we are 3-0 under our new starting 5 of Westbrook/Bane/Bridges/Collins/Chet with Mathurin off the bench, with wins at the Heat and home against the Clippers and the Pelicans. Ya love to see it.

Picked up a good win over the Nets, Embiid only dropped 35/12/5 on me, the key for us was slowing down Brunson. Sometimes I wonder how long it takes for "chemistry" to kick in, or is that just something we make up for when we lose a game . Porter has seemed to find his groove, Kuzma chipped in across the board.

Utah is probably pretty much with wheeling and dealing aside from trying to find more of a pure backup point guard, from where we started this year to where my team is now, I honestly didn't expect this many moves. I planned on being a boring team transaction wise, but I do love the fit of my team moving forward in the sim.

These guys told me this league was going to be low time commitment, but now I spend half my days thinking up random trades
