Miles Bridges was wrong and paid the consequences. I’m sure that lady was/is a nightmare to be with. Women don’t just get beat for no reason.
Bridges just has very low emotional intelligence. Hopefully for him he can figure it out.
Im always gonna be on the side of helping black men. Not continuing to bash and destroy them.

Women don't get beat for no reason? That's the hill you're dying on?

What a scumbag.

Yup. For example if you were to get beat up it would probably be cuz you’re a douchebag. See. There’s a reason for everything

"You're a scumbag" "Well you're a douchebag!"

Lets be better than that here.

I appreciate Flexs' positivity when discussing the suns, But when he argues that this suns team ISN'T the one we've been seeing struggle and underperform in the 4th quarters, he sounds like he's either intentionally disingenuous or a deluded moron in denial! I mean clearly, anyone who's followed this team knows that the suns team that has consistently struggled in 4th quarters and that gets bullied by more physical teams and becomes passive and apathetic and always struggles against length and athleticism is absolutely is this suns team!!!!

It's comments like this from him that illicits no credibility whatsoever towards his perspectives.

I hate him and the show has gone downwards since he joined.

He provides little basketball insight and is just a fanboy that allegedly has inside sources into the Suns and that's it.

 I had started watching those guys. They were fun at least and provided some catharsis after games. But why the **** did they get that fraud?? I just can't stomach listening or watching that dude so I barely listen to them anymore. He looks like a clown and talks like a clown. He conned a lot of people though.

They honestly very likely just added Flex so they'd have a more polarizing dynamic during their discussions and appeal to a wider audience givn the fans that do follow him religiously. For my part, I don't hate the guy personally. I just consider him a very clever BS er'/ grifter that takes whatever second hand info he can gleen from anywhere or trending fan opinions/ interest and runs with it as a low key clout chaser. The show is somewhat entertaining with all the varying personalities. But again, the hiring was most likely just to spice things up with his polarizing commentary and to add his fanbase followers for additional clicks. :dontknow:

12. Phoenix Suns (-)

2023-24 Record: 26-20, Upcoming schedule: at MIA (1/29), at BKN (1/31), at ATL (2/2), at WAS (2/4)

Before losing on the road to the Pacers and Magic to end the week, the Suns had won seven straight games. An offense led by Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal is almost impossible to stop. This is why the Suns have started to look like the championship team many had imagined. Still, this team has gaps in their second unit and in the frontcourt. Against bigger, lengthier teams like the Magic, the Suns are going to struggle because they simply lack size and physicality.

Just one game behind the Sacramento Kings for the 5-seed in the West, the Suns will conclude their seven-game road trip this upcoming week. Quite honestly, a loss to any of the four teams on their schedule this week would be concerning, yet some slack can be given since Phoenix is going to be on the road.

So it's definitely not the end of the world or time to panic! I understand the significant concerns everyone has due to exactly how much of our future we've mortgaged in this "all in" very risky strategy. So our frustrations are absolutely valid as a point of discussions. And anything less than a resulting championship will and should be viewed as an abject failure for our season. For my part, I don't and honestly never did expect these moves to result in a championship this season anyways. I have us getting eliminated in the 2nd round most likely but then making clever (more openminded moves) to add low cost talent, etc this offseason to shore up our unaddressed positional weaknesses reactively rather than proactively this summer and then with more established chemistry and cohesion, we'll make it back to the finals and finally win our first championship!

But this trade deadline will be critically important to the trajectory of our future and in setting us up somewhat with better options for our offseason moves. The suns front office will have to be very aggressive in both pursuing and adding legit talent, SIZE, ATHLETICISM and PHYSICALITY to our roster to shore up our glaring weaknesses. AND be much more open to signing/acquiring low cost upside talent swings from ALL AVAILABLE AVENUES in order to offset our depleted asset cache and inconsistent bench. Whether that be G league outliers, undrafted/ unsigned talents, or possibly even overseas performers that fit our needs, we'll need to be very creative and open minded in considering these options so that we can replenish our lost talent and positional depth. We'll also need to be aggressive in trying to acquire (purchase or trade for) 2nd round picks from teams with multiple picks to add COST CONTROLLED YOUNG UPSIDE TALENT SWINGS that haven't already established low percieved value during their time in the league. NO reclamation projects with limited upside/ ceilings. That's how we turn things around and give ourselves more creative options.

ESPN insiders trades we want to see....this one is a bit surprising that they think it would be fair...

Bridges goes across the bridge
New York Knicks get: Mikal Bridges
Brooklyn Nets get: Evan Fournier, Quentin Grimes, 2024 first-round pick (from Dallas, top-10 protected), 2025 first-round pick (from Milwaukee, top-4 protected), 2025 first-round pick (from New York, unprotected), 2027 first-round pick (from New York, unprotected) and 2029 first-round pick (from New York, top-5 protected)

Bridges is awesome for sure, but this (at least to me) does seem like a bit of an overpay by the knicks on all the picks. Plus with Randle set to miss multiple weeks AND with Mitchell out too, is another wing, even one of Bridges caliber really what they need most? :dontknow:

If this trade happens its probably worse karma for us than not drafting luka.

There is just soooo much nonsense drivel around any subject nowadays. "Narrative" Basically whoever can come up with whatever bs. "expert" "insider" f all that.

Also the trade is as far away from being fair as I am from playing in the league. So basically there is not one thing in there that is even remotly correct. "expert" smfh

So they're basically saying that we gave them the equivalent value of 9 first round picks and Cam Johnson for Durant? Lol.
Not like JJ would've done better with those 9 picks than twilight KD but still. Oof.

Well they said it would never happen, mainly because NY would never trade with Brooklyn...like they never have, at least in years. But Brooklyn is in like 11th place, so it's not like they are really likely to compete.

They also had a 3 way trade where Dinwiddie and a 29 Lakers pick goes to Atlanta, Murray goes to the Lakers, and DeAngelo Russell goes back to Brooklyn to give them another scorer.

cue GoK to inject us into this hypothetical trade somehow

I agree that it's not a fair trade but that being said if someone's offering you 5 picks for Mikal do you really turn it down because you want to keep your one pick that'll be mid lottery? You take that offer and run.

Well we already knew or it was heavily rumored by reliable sources that Memphis offered 4 firsts for him and got turned down.

Brooklyn will deny they are listening but it wouldn't surprise me if they moved Bridges at the deadline.

I think you're confusing him and Johnson, who got a big extension this summer.

Bridges has two seasons after this one on the relatively cheap deal he signed with Phoenix. He'll be getting like $50mil per in his next contract. Why I say he could be traded is it's likey this is the absolute peak of his trade value so while I'm sure the Nets will deny they would trade him they will quietly listen and if they get bowled over by a deal might be tempted to take it.

This is just a brutal team to discuss on a day to day basis especially here since there's an underlying current of negativity at all times. More than any other suns team ever this is a work in progress group where all they will be judged on is their playoff performance.

They look great at times and other times they look like a group who's never played together.

I'm pretty optimistic but they really really need to figure out a couple more dudes they can trust in the rotation.

There's a ton of posters here that want the Suns to fail. It's weird.
