Get the right offer or hold him til the off season. In the meanwhile, tell him the doctors don’t like the results of his recent mri and to spend a month recovering in a hot tub .

I disagree. He has more value to a contender over 2 playoffs, not 1. There’s no benefit to holding onto him. We’d make the same mistake as Kyle, FVV, Siakam. Brown has no future with us and we’re rebuilding so we have to ship him out this deadline if we want the best return.

I don't think we'll get Grimes. Isn't he one of Thibs' guys? He's still playing his usual 20mpg even after the OG trade. I don't even think New York really needs him either as they have two bigger versions of him in Hart and OG already. I think with Randle and MRob's injuries, they'll be in the market for a big instead.

Philly seems like the logical choice given their abundance of expiring contracts and draft picks. I was thinking something like Morris + Melton and a FRP seem like a fair deal but who knows if Morey is willing to give one up for Bruce. It doesn't impact his goal of preserving cap space this off season and even if they strike out in free agency they have the option to just bring him back

Sacramento would be another fun option. Huerter + McGee works and I think Kevin would be a great fit to compliment BBQ with McGee being a playable stop-gap center. Sacramento gets a defensive presence to slot next to Fox and you can already envision how much Mike Brown would love to have Bruce running around with Sabonis as the fulcrum.

Looking at the landscape of partners, there aren't many teams that I think have what we want and are willing to give them up for Bruce.

Grimes was a Thibs guy last year. Apparently Grimes is in Thibs doghouse because Grimes didn’t play with a hurt shoulder in last years playoffs. Divencenzo signing on top of it and we have a buy low opportunity.

Brown has high value due to his role in the Nuggets title and he has a team friendly contract. Realistically we can get a FRP or a young prospect and salary filler.

Everyone keeps saying we are going to get a young player or a pick. I sure hope so. I am just getting ready to be underwhelmed (I thought we were also getting a young player for Pascal).

I hope we do as well. But like fans of other teams, we also like delude ourselves into thinking our garbage is gold.

Theyll likely get back a young rotation caliber player, like a Marjon Beauchamp or Quentin Grimes.

Grimes making noise about wanting a bigger role so knicks might be willing get rid of him.

I like Brown and Poetl with our evolving group. We lost a ton of defence when OG and Siakam left. Don' t burn the whole thing down.

We may just end up keeping Brown, if no free agent shows interest in summer we will pick up his team option and Masai will say thats our big free agent signing lol

Agree. His best value is right now

Part of the interest is that he can retain some value at the draft.

Therefore it’s interesting for a team to acquire him and recover partially what you paid to acquire him at TDL.

But there is no way in my mind that his value is higher during off season

It’s for the playoffs that you want / need Bruce Brown.

We need to move him

Not trading him could be a major mistake and a loss opportunity IMO

We saw the movie last season of not trading guys. Cannot repeat that movie,

We need to move at least two players IMO and one of the two needs to be Brown. The other can be Boucher.

Bruce Brown as a starter for the Raptors...
3 games, stats 'per game'

13.0 pts, 8.3 reb, 2.3 ast
1.7 stl, 1.3 blk
45.5 FG%, 42.9 3pt, 100.0 FT%

...and a great def.
We all have different opinions, and that is one thing that makes this forum great.

Trade him after that game. Sell high.

Yeah I'm pretty sure this game isn't what's made him high on people's list.

I agree with selling but GMs know who Brown is. A good or bad week here isn’t changing anything.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

He decided to try hard this game. He's been sleepwalking through most of the others.

Just in this game, Dalen Terry sprained his ankle. Gotta trade this week please.
