Why
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I had heard that a lot of college coaches have been trying to jump up to the NFL with all the NIL/transfer portal stuff so from that end this makes sense.
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Why

I was getting myself excited for someone like Parker. Just wasn’t expecting this lol.

But this is encouraging:

I personally love it. Id rather give up some big plays than be bled to death over and over.

Should be noted that Pettine and Capers were super press man heavy in their philosophy so the packs d has been bad that way too.

I knew nothing about any of the candidates so have no opinion on the hire other than I hope it works out.

I figured this would be an out of left field hire with how secretive they've tried to be during this process.

Seems like the anti-Barry philosophy-wise, so that's a plus.

Ok. Huh. I’ll wait to form my opinion.

If he plays a bend but don’t break defense then it is on MLF for bringing in a second DC that calls it that way. So if he stinks this is on MLF and I think he knows that

He is buddies with MLF. Not great.

Hafley was also thrilled to see former BC standout running back AJ Dillon go to the Green Bay Packers in the second round, and he believes his friend Matt LaFleur, the Packers head coach, “got a great one.”

Know absolutely nothing about him. I hope he's good.

I don’t know enough about Hafley to know if he’ll be a good hire or not, but I do have to say that I’m disappointed that it seems like LaFleur keeps hiring friends he is comfortable with and keeps passing over these bright, young minority candidates from successful organizations.

Based on what I'm reading about this guy, our defense is about to undergo a pretty drastic scheme shift. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing but he seems very different from the Fangio tree

These dudes bounce around and work with so many staffs if you remove all the 'buddies' the list would be pretty small.

That is the aspect I like as I wanted out of the soft umbrella defense but at the same time I just want someone who is adaptable and can adjust what he runs to fit the talent on the roster. Hopefully this guy can do that.

I do like idea of Gary and LVN as 4-3 hand in the dirt ends. LVN never felt right as a 3-4 edge rusher.
